Answer:	For deep tighter waves section your hair into smaller sections, bigger sections of hair for loose light waves. You can also use more or less pressure when you clamp the tool on your hair, for example, I use less pressure and less time when closer to my roots so they don’t get that weird straight line at the top of my head and then as I move down I use more pressure and hold it a few seconds longer. Use a light coat of texture spray before and after and comb through your hair with your fingers to separate the waves and it won’t be frizzy. Use a volumizing power in your roots after so that it doesn't look flat compared to the rest of your hair. I also pull the tool up and away from my scalp when I am at the roots so it gives it a bit of volume.

Answer:	I don'y have experience with the deep waver, but my hair is in layers and it is cut in a bob, just above my shoulders also. I love this waver ! Makes a nice wave without the kinky look. Just takes some practice. There are a ton of videos on YouTube show how to use this waver in short hair. Check them out and I think you will have a better idea. Hope this helps.

Air comes out of each hole but doesn’t have enough force to blow hair all around but to dry it gently without disturbing the curl. HOW TO USE

Ensure the hair is dry and combed through to remove any tangles. Divide the hair into sections that are ready for styling.

Press the power button to select the suitable heat setting for your hair type. The LED digital will flash until optimum temperature has been reached. Once the temperature has been reached, the LED digital will stop flashing.

Take a section of hair and place between the top barrels and bottom plate of the appliance.

Clamp the hair between the top barrels and bottom plate by pressing the appliance together. Hold in place for 5-8 seconds. Take care to avoid the hot surfaces of the appliance coming into contact with the skin, in particular the eyes, ears, face and neck.

Release the barrel hair curling from the hair and gently slide down to the next section. Re-position the appliance to overlap the last wave created, to ensure a continuous wave effect in the hair.

Continue this action down the entire hair section, towards the ends of the hair.

Allow the section to cool before styling. Repeat it on each hair section. After use, press the power button for 2 seconds to switch off and unplug the appliance.

Allow to cool before storing away.
