Answer:	This is an interesting question.My understanding is it removes the residue of product build-up as a "clarifying" shampoo. To remove hard water mineral build-up in the hair, it would need to be a "chelating" shampoo. Chelating shampoos are specifically designed to prevent and remove mineral buildup in your hair. A chelating agent will chemically bind to minerals, removing them before you even have a chance to notice that they're there. Answer:	NO. I carefully read the ingredients online before ordering, as I cannot use sulfates OR sodium chloride with my keratin treated hair. I was SO perturbed to receive my order, look at the ingredients, which NOW has sodium chloride listed as an ingredient, a very big No-No. 😠 I am returning it.

Answer:	Yes!!!! It is both sulfate and paraben free so it doesnt leave your hair dry and brittle. Its more of a moisturizing shampoo but i still only recommend using a small amount of the shampoo when washing. The conditioner is also very thick and moisturising. I hope you find this useful.

Answer:	I just used it 5 minutes ago... to me it seems like a very mild scent, not like many shampoos that are strongly perfumed. Tons of ingredients, of course. Answer:	Contrary to some people claiming this has no smell, while it has no fragrance or aromatic oils, it does have mildly strong, what I would describe as, chemical or plastic smell, which I can deal with, and it leaves no fragrance in the hair or on the skin.

Answer:	It is technically "safe" for color-treated hair, but I find it made my colored hair feel like straw. I slather on the Free & Clear Conditioner too, but it is very basic and rinses out very quickly. However, they do not irritate my super-sensitized skin and I haven't been able to find anything else.
