Answer:	Ok I think what it will do is of course the roots with be this deep dark brown that shines in the light. The rest of you hair I believe will just be a even darker deep brown. I have gray hair at the roots and about 3 inches down the hair shaft. I have dark natural black hair and have used the sorry think it hendi dye so got a lot going on here. I would try a darker color of this brand if not this one should work great. Oh and this dye last forever Im just starting to see my gray emerge and got this has to be a month ago.

Answer:	I had black dyed hair and used Ruby Noir in my hair and it worked great and turned out beautifully. I didnt do anything to my hair to strip it or anything.
