Answer:	My wife and I have had no issues with cell phones by the monitor. We charge our cell phones right next to the monitor as we sleep with no issues.

Answer:	Yes the screen turns off after a certain amount of time. Think like 15 mins or something according to my wife. You still hear the sound and to get the screen back all you have to do is hit a button. Pretty sweet for sleeping at night.

Answer:	The unit comes with 'screws' that push out against the wall to hold it in place... if you tighten the screws really good, it may provide the security you need. Conceivably, you can find hardware that will add security, but it may take a little searching. Overall, it is a good product and please note that it ships slightly open by design so that you can tighten it against the walls and as you turn the 'screws', the unit closes up with fair tension. Question:	How wide is the gap between the slats? I have a super tiny dog
Answer:	I am pretty sure China. It is so small and I can't even use it

Answer:	I'm not sure why there are varying answers to this, maybe the product changed? But mine requires two hands, you must push in and twist, then hold while you pull the gate open. To avoid this I twisted the knob and then shoved a thumbtack into the gap at the bottom of the knob, that works just fine for holding the knob in place.
Question:	Can this wood be stained
Answer:	First the bottom, in my case -- and after a 'hack-y' fix that lasted another week -- now the top has broken. Doesn't look like a replaceable part -- I've spent a lot of time thinking on how I could "add some hardware" to simulate the missing clips. A shame - because I liked the gate, in concept. Definitely wasn't up to the abuses of regular use and an enthusiastic puppy.

Answer:	The gate latches to a wall catch plate that holds it while extended. If a baby pushes on the gate or falls on the gate while extended it will flex as the retractable roller does not lock in place. We use these gates as dog barriers and my dogs jump on them all the time, it will flex and then return to use position.

Answer:	We have discovered if the screws are a little loose, the gates will stay open by themselves. You might have to play with it to get the tension just right, but it works for us. We also have the plastic cups fastened to the wall - not sure if that makes a difference.

Doubling up of tape may be required, but there should be sufficient included in the set. Many of our customers have used our Safety Guard Set successfully on brick. Regarding removal, an alcohol based product should take care of any residue. Question:	Can I use this upright in a sliding glass door
Answer:	The extra wide gate would not be able to be attached to the frame of a sliding glass door. It would not be recommended to be used this way.
Question:	Does this gate fold in half if you want to collapse it to a smaller size for storage or do the two halves slide together
Answer:	It doesn't quite fold in half but will slide into itself. I'm able to keep it upright in a closet when not in use.
Question:	Does it swing both directions
Answer:	Well I’m really confused about the fact that it describes it has an “Extra-Wide Swing”. The Gate worked well but it Slides out to expand and back in to contract. (Just like a sliding glass door). The gate does not swing out and in. (Like a door would do when you push it to open and pull it to close). Unless this one comes with that feature but by the illustration it appears to be the exact one we bought. I hope this helps.😊
Question:	Can this be Separated
Answer:	It came with two separate gates that are put together at home with tools that are included. Each gate (set) has 2 pieces that cannot be separated.

Question:	Metal hardware or plastic
Answer:	I have a 50-lb boxer mix that is quite strong and active. I do have two of these gates to keep her out of certain areas in the house. Both openings are 42-inches wide; the gates are quite sturdy at that extended width. She has not moved the gates since I erected these over a year ago. However, I must say that she seems to understand that the other side of the gate is the "no-dog-zone", because I think she could easily leap over the gate if she wanted to. I have been very please with the quality and appearance of these gates, and with my dog's behavior.
Question:	can this gate get wet on a deck
Answer:	I foster cats and kittens and have used these gates to separate cats and kittens. Up until probably 6 weeks old they won't climb them. After about 6 weeks then yes they can climb them, but if you use more than 1 they can't. I normally have 3 stacked one above the other and angle them progressively in towards the cat or kitten so when the cat or kitten looks up and starts to climb they do not see a top to go over and stop. This will normally prevent most except the most persistent cat from climbing over them.
Question:	Do u have to make a holes in the wall
Answer:	I tested and fited 28'' and up
Question:	The frame is wood, but what is the inside made of
Answer:	Yes, an aggressive chewing puppy will definitely chew through it. Also, the quality is less than impressive. The posts are doweled but not glued and they come out easily leaving the netting out of the channel it is originally set in. I'm less than thrilled with this gate. It was what I was expecting, but not the quality I was expecting. My puppy is a chewer, but very respectful of barriers so he doesn't try to chew the gate.

Question:	Does it work with baseboards? Can the pressure be adjusted on the bottom part to adjust for this
Answer:	The opening is 17 inches. I have had plumbers, electricians and carpenters at my house and they had no problem getting in or out of the gates. They couldn't believe how great the gates work.
Question:	how wide is the openings between each bar
Answer:	I just measured, and the gate, with the long extension is 32.25" wide. That leaves plenty of room for the adjusters. OK, so everyone can do the math:The 3 sections are 26" (Gate), 4.25" and 6.25" (Extensions), and the adjusters need 1.125" each (2.25 total) as a minimum. The adjusters are about 5" long. (I ain't taking that dang thing apart to see exactly how long. LOL) Gate only - 27.25" to 36" (I would recommend 27.25 to about 33". The adjusters get kinda wobbly as they get longer.) Gate and Short Extension - 32.5" to 40" (37" recommended Max)Gate and Long Extension - 34.5" to 42" (39" Recommended Max)Gate and Both Extensions - 38.5" to 46" (44" Recommended Max)The recommended Maximums shown here are my own best guestimates and are not to be taken as a limit, and are, in no way, sanctioned by the manufacturer. Answer:	It will work with different widths top and bottom. There is quite a bit of adjustment on each of the four contacting corners.
Question:	Will it work for a 36" opening. I have read some do not fit well for this size
Answer:	About 16 inches wide
