Answer:	Moonlight Slumber no longer prints a heat transfer logo on the face of the mattress, so the writing is no longer w/ the transfer indicating infant side. The new poly-satin tag at the bottom of the mattress has "infant side with a directional arrow" and "toddler side with a directional arrow" on it. We removed the heat transfer logo to provide an even purer sleep surface for your child. Answer:	I do not know if it is 100% plant based. Perhaps you can email the manufacturer. However, my grandson has been sleeping on this mattress with a 100% organic cotton mattress cover for 2 and a half years. There are no "odors" with this mattress like there are with cheaper mattresses and the mattress still looks as if it has never been used. I actually have two of the other mattress because we have a second home and I bought it for his crib there. The strange thing is he doesn't like that crib as much as his crib that he spends most of his time in. I will say this, the mattress is really hard. I think they do that on purpose because of SIDS to begin with but I would never want to sleep on something so hard! Sorry I just don't know anything about the other mattress. I purposely bought this one because it doesn't have flame retardant.

Question:	I tried to use the Naturepedic Waterproof Fitted Crib Pad with this mattress. It is not snug, has anyone had this same issue or which do you use
Answer:	I am using Carter's Keep Me Dry Fitted Quilted Crib Pad and it fits great -- everything fits snug, the pad and the bed sheet that goes over it.
Question:	So people say the cover is waterproof. Is it a separate cover? I'm trying to figure out if I need to buy a waterproof mattress cover as well
Answer:	I bought waterproof covers just in case but the mattress itself has a vinyl(?) case that is non-removable. I've had to put a sheet over just the mattress when I've run out of waterproof covers and it didn't seem to be affected by a pee-accident at all... I just cleaned it off and it was fine, it didn't feel like it had been penetrated.
Question:	Does this mattress fit Ikea cribs? Ikea says to use a 27.5x52" mattress so it seems like it should fit, but wondering if anyone has tried it
Answer:	We do not know anything about Ikea cribs but it seems like it would fit. My daughter's baby bed said to not use anything larger that 27 1/4 x 51 5/8 and thickness no more than 6 in. and with the mattress protector (Carter's Keep Me Dry Fitted Quilted 4-ply Crib Pad, which we also like) fits perfectly without any gaps. Was more than I wanted to pay but very happy with purchase.

Question:	Which side of the cover faces up? Blue or white
Answer:	My granddaughter was premature and she stared using it when she was 5 lbs so I would say newborn. The straps were big on her but she is also very tiny. She wasn't at risk, they just weren't tight. I would guess (obviously babies grow at different rates) about 6 months to about a year would be the maximum
