| Answer: | If you screw the lid on correctly, it will not leak. It only leaks completely upside down, and very slowly. My toddler sleeps with his cup all the time with no issues. I just make sure to tip it to make sure I put the lid on correctly. |

| Answer: | You can take the valve out but if your 5 yr old knocks it over it will spill. They are very sturdy though and the valve is good material. I hand wash all my valves so they keep longer. |
