| Answer: | I used a garden reel cart similar to the one Northern Tools sells (Item # 41726 - $99.00 for non members). I have wrapped 5 - 50" 3" diameter hoses complete with couplings (appx. 250') but it would probably hold more if their are no couplings between the hoses. I went a step further by cutting off and re-welding the wheels so they go in the same direction as the reel which allows for quick deployment of the heavy hose. I hook one end of the connector to the pump and just rolling out 200' in less then 30 seconds which you may need to do in a heavy down poor especially with the weight of the hoses and connectors. When I re-wrap the hose I hook one end of the coupler through the middle reel section to the fitting just outside the reel where the normal garden hose would connect so it initially stays in position and then begin wrapping it on the reel using the crank. It works perfectly. |

The material is quite thick so may be able to take some low pressure..30-40 psi ... but this is just a guess. Good luck with your research... |
