Answer:	We change out little one at least every 2 hours. She is wearing size 2 diapers. Each new refill holds about 180 diapers depending on various factors. When she starts potty training at 2.5 years old, my plan is to cancel the subscription and use the extra 12 or so that we have stored. Answer:	OK - I have to start by saying, you blew. my. mind. with this question, because after 2 1/2 years using a diaper genie, I somehow missed the 'twisting' memo and have never practiced it. I've started doing this the last couple days and I CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE BEEN SO BLIND! What a difference it makes! - To answer your question, I don't know if it has a recess or not (comparatively), but I was easily able to turn the container and twist off the diaper with this Nursery Fresh brand.
