Answer:	There's an adjustment cord on the strollers back that can make the angle of the seat more suitable for infants. I found having the cord at the tightest works best for infants. It's a bit stiff at first but very sturdy. I have s 2mo and have been using it in this way since he was 1 month old and gave no problems. Hope this helps.

It can easily be removed for cleaning or to rethread the harness but it would need to be reinstalled each time it was removed from your vehicle. Only the Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seats have carrying handles as their function includes carrying an infant around and attaching the infant carrier to the stroller.
