That is my opinion and I am a 2nd grade teacher and see all developmental levels.

Answer:	If your baby can't use it, she will eventually be able to. Our baby wasn't quite able to use it at 3 months, but each baby is a little different. I recommend getting it and if she doesn't use it right away, keep offering it every so often. She might use it when she is 4 months, or maybe when she's 5. Our baby is now 8 months old and he loves it! :D

2. Your baby's deeply cupped tongue moves from front to back evenly in a wavelike motion, sealing and unseaing the back third, so that he can exact liquid from the breast or bottle.

3. If your baby can not get a good latch, check with the doctor to see whether he has tongue tie. If so, have it cut while in hospital.
