Answer:	You could try it. Mix a small amount up first and see if it will combine so you don't ruin the entire bottle if it doesn't mix well. Make sure your alcohol is at least 70 to 90 percent for disinfection. If it doesn't mix well, use aloe gel. Plenty of recipes for homemade hand sanitizer on Google. :)

I am African American and was taught by my grandmother and great-grandmother to use baby oil on newborns scalp, as well as, their body. We have always gotten compliments from doctors, strangers etc. on how well their skin is. Note: most African American skin is typically dry so adding the oil to our heads and or skin is necessary. Therefore, for most African Americans this will be a plus for hair and skin.
