Answer:	I assume it acts like ordinary electrical cord and continues to draw power as long as plugged to outlet. More important however, if I recall, instructions state not to have unit plugged in or on when starting car. You may want to check instructions to verify.

Answer:	I ordered this product to have with me while at work to charge various items. The first one I recieved the AC plugs did not work. So I sent for a new one, the second one I recieved worked one day and never worked again. So I didn't bother sending for a new one. I'm sure it's a defect some where but to have two go out.

Question:	The inverter is rated at 1000 watts continuous, and 2000 watt surge. Will it be able to run a 1500 watt microwave for 30-40 seconds to heat water
Answer:	The reason we say its not compatible is primarily because of the different voltage characteristics as the battery is drained. Our inverter is set to 15V high voltage alarm and 10.5 Low voltage alarm. These conditions might not be ideal for lithium iron phosphate batteries. Your lithium batteries may discharge completely before the alarm goes off.

Answer:	Hello Brian, Thank you for your interest in our Slim Line 1,000W inverter (item no. 3720), in regards to your inquiry the internal fans in this device are thermally controlled and would activate depending on the internal temperature of the device. Keep in mind that this does not necessarily mean "When no load is present" as the temperature of the device could still be high/hot depending on the external/ambient temperature surrounding the inverter. We would recommend providing proper air flow and ventilation for the inverter in order to allow it to maintain proper temp. levels.

Answer:	I have no idea. The Wagan worked great for me for jumping dead batteries and inflating tires . . . until I tried to inflate the spare (donut) on a little Ford Focus. In spite of the Wagan's boasted max air pressure, the unit burned up at 55 lbs.

Answer:	Hello, Short Answer: 1500 Watts / 120 Volts = 12.5 Amps. Long Answer: Amps measure the flow of electricity as an electric current. You should think of electric current as the flow of water through a pipe. The more water flowing through the hose-pipe, the stronger the current is. Volts are the measurement used to determine how much force is needed to cause the electric current to flow. In keeping with the earlier example, you could think of volts as the water pressure in the hosepipe, which makes the water flow. Watts: Amps multiplied by Volts equals Watts, which is the measurement used to determine the amount of energy. The higher the wattage is, the more power and output from the appliance. In terms of the hose-pipe example, this would refer to the amount of water being released.

Answer:	It sounds like your radio is picking up RF interference. The best thing to do is move the radio away from the RF emitting device or shield the RF emitting device so that it does not emit RF interference.

Because it does not say 3 pack anywhere, but to answer your question: No this is 1 individual inverter, and not a 3 pack of anything.
Question:	watts is equivalent to how many amps
Answer:	Mine runs 112.2 volts under a 300 watt load and maintains a pure sine wave, that is with a 12.8 volt Lifepo4 40 ah battery. Hope this helps.

Question:	I have an igloo iceless cooler which needs a new power cord. The one that came with it is 110-120vac and 12 dc 5.8 amp.. would this power cord work
Answer:	Yeah, it'll work, but it won't be good for the battery if you keep it plugged in after it's fully charged. And there's not really a way to tell when it's fully charged. A real deep cycle battery charger would send in 10-15 amps until it gets near full then reduce it to less current until it's just a trickle. But it's only 5 amps, so it won't be too bad for the battery. For your 35 amp-hour battery on a 5-amp charger, just let it charge overnight then unplug it and it should be good. I'd guess it'll take 10 hours to fill it up from near-empty.

Answer:	Hello Dave, As you mentioned, this inverter is only rated at 1,000 Watts continuous, so no it would not be able to run a 1,500 Watt microwave as 1,500 is MORE Than 1,000. The 2,000 Watts SURGE POWER is for start up surge on devices that require additional power on boot up (Peak Surge Power is for half a second to a second during the boot up of a device when it turns on). You would want a 1,500 Watts or Higher Inverter to operate your microwave. We would recommend a 2,000 Watt inverter to ensure you have enough power to sufficiently run your microwave.

User Friendly Storage

Like all of Wagan products, the Power Dome LT is well thought out. There is a storage compartment for the air hose and inflator accessories on the right side of the jumper, and the booster cable coiling rack can be found on the rear of the Power Dome LT. Everything stores neatly and is organized for the next time that you need them.
