Other than supporting the vehicle for a minute or two with one jack, while raising the opposite side to place the other jack safely.... I would side with caution and say that BOTH/COMBINED jacks can support 3 tons (6,000 pounds). Don't forget to use your parking brake and chock both wheels that remain on the ground. Stay SAFE!!

The 22 Ton Capacity (note that you would need to verify this information for yourself) means that between the two jack stands it can evenly support 22 tons from one weight source, which is to say that each jack stand can support up to 11 tons or 22,000 lbs per jack stand. So the two jack stands together can have a single weight source bearing down on both of the jack stands simultaneously of no more than 44,000 lbs.
