Answer:	I bought a two pack. Key works for both “locks”. So does a flathead screwdriver on the outer most part of the keyhole.

Answer:	The glue should hold well enough to screw up your paint if you try and remove it.

Answer:	This lock does not rotate. It has very strong sticking to the side and on the door. You just use the key to unlock just as you would any other lock. Tried removing where it had been stuck on because the key got lost and there was no removing it. The cable had to be cut.

Answer:	It will but I'm not sure as to what difficulty. I was told that 3M's "general purpose adhesive remover" makes removal easy and without damage to the mating surface but I haven't tried it. The adhesive pads are thin which puts the lock pads close to the mating surface so trying to pry the locks off without damage to the mating surface could prove to be difficult. Applying 3M's product is supposed to make the pads loose enough to pull off after about 10 minutes. Good luck.

Answer:	It will definitely “cushion” a kayak, but what matters more is the surface you want to stick the bumper to. I have it suck to my garage wall (unpainted cinder block). I wasn’t concerned about leaving a mark on the wall. Overall, the bumpers are very dense (good thing) and do their job well.
