I have it plugged into my car's cigarette lighter and connected to an Apple lightning adaptor cable that I picked up at Best Buy. The iPod will charge while in use. Yes, you can skip songs with buttons on the unit and the iPod. I also bought an adjustable iPhone/iPod holder that I have attached to my dashboard. Be careful when driving because manipulating the iPod while moving is difficult and very distractive. All in all the unit works pretty well for its price. You need to tune both the unit and your FM to the same frequency. Radio interference will disrupt the iPod signal to your car stereo so find a frequency that is not being used and it should work ok. My only complaint is that after a year of use that I now get hiss on some of the songs. I may need to replace the adaptor cable and/or buy a new unit. |
