Batteries are optional and are only used to pair tool to Bluetooth/Wifi without being linked to vehicle, and to look at stored information in tool if not connected to vehicle.

Will it read ABS/ airbag codes?

Sorry, NT301 obdii scanner is able to read and clear check engine information which is part of OBDII system, but it cannot work on non-OBDII systems(ABS/airbag/oil service light,ect.). While FOXWELL NT630 Plus can reset airbag/abs service light, FOXWELL NT614 Elite support transmission and can reset oil service light and EPB, and FOXWELL NT624 Elite can do a full-system diagnostics.

Answer:	Yes, it will. MS309 is a basic OBD2 scanner that can work on all OBD2 compliant vehicles to read and clear OBD2 codes. As long as your 2000 Toyota Prado is OBD2 compliant, it should work fine to read and clear OBD2 codes.

Answer:	As far as I know it will, I have not personally used it on a Nissan yet but have on various makes and models up to 2017 and on diesels and so far as long as it has a obd2 port it will work, there will be some pids it won't respond to but have not ran into that issue

I just found how to unlock the pro version...It's a in-app purchase...click "..." at the bottom of the app to upgrade. The Pro version is available for $7.99.

Answer:	I can confirm that this adapter WILL read (I haven't tried to clear yet) ABS codes on Ford (2001 Ranger 4.0L), using FordSysFree or MotorDataOBD Free (both Android). ABS codes are in the Cxxxx range. Mine picked up, correctly, C0034 - Front Right Wheel Speed Sensor Failure. While other adapters may be able to read these codes with other Android Apps, this ELM327 BAFX adapter does capture ABS codes for Ford. That is the only one I can confirm. Yes, FORScan for PC should also pick up these codes with this adapter. I have not tested Torque PRO, but I don't believe it will read ABS codes with this adapter.

D-P-F Regeneration & Oil Light Reset Services

We added the D-P-F Regeneration for Hino, Isuzu, Fuso, UD and Oil Service Reset for Hino, Isuzu, Fuso. (UD can not support auto oil light reset, so this function can not work on it.)

Warm tips: It will take 15-45 minutes to finish this part, so please operate as the ECU’s guide in a outdoor space. (If you not operate as the guide, this process may can not finish normally.)

Why to choose this scanner to do D-P-F Regeneration myself?

• 1. To make your vehicles have enough power to run again.

There is no spark plug in diesel engine, it’s a compression ignition engine which unable to fully use the fuel. Driving under this condition, the filter will be blocked and will not have enough power to make the vehicle to run again. So it’s very necessary to clear this part regularly.

• 2. Save money for repair shop maintenance service fee.
