Answer: | I believe the 964 is essentially a 911, correct? If thats the case then yes it will fit on the fluid reservoir. Just to be certain you could contact Motive products directly for further information. Motive also has a "European Black label" which may be the one you need. Again, this one fits most European cars, but the 911 (964) Porsche could be different. I got this one for my 99 VW Passat, which amazon states does not fit, but it does. |

Answer: | Mine came like this too and I simply wiped off the extra grease but I also decided I'm only going to use this to put pressure into the brake system and simply keep filling the reservoir in the car. Another reason I rather not use this with brake fluid is because I'll be using this on different cars with incompatible brake fluid. I can't imagine cleaning this in between. Just going to be extra careful to make sure I don't completely drain the cars reservoir. |

Answer: | By principle, pressure has to be applied to the opening of the clutch fluid reservoir to push out the fluid and air from the clutch system via the bleeding nipple. All motive bleeders can do that except that you need to get the one that has the bleeder cup or cover to fit the top of the clutch fluid reservoir tightly to prevent leakage. I cannot tell if the cover with this bleeder system can cover the opening of your clutch fluid reservoir. remember they are made for brake ports. So my answer will be NO. |

Answer: | I'm not sure, but a good resource and supplier of the connectors is Power Probe. There is a number on their website where they can cross reference the one you purchased to see if it will work or if you need to order a different connector. I had to do this when I ordered a standard 3 tab Ford unit but needed one for a GM connector for a TRW master cylinder on my 2007 Mustang. I received it in a couple of days and it worked perfectly. I was a slightly smaller diameter with the same number od locking tabs. Hope this helps. |

Answer: | If it is a 3 prong reservoir, it should. There is a better model that is 1118 (the reservoir is the same but there many different attachments for different vehicles). The 0107 seals by an O ring against the insise barrel of filler neck. The 1118 seals against the top ring of the neck. The 1118 is easier to use and on my cousins Ford Fiesta, the 0107 did not work because the barrel of the filler neck was too narrow (the hard plastic was too big to fit inside). These motive products are AMAZING once they are on and sealed properly. Best working product ever as long as you get it sealed. Just be patient making the seal. |

Answer: | It usually will if it's just trapped air. If there is a clogged bleeder screw orifice then that will still need to be cleaned out and if there is a blockage in the line it sometimes needs a little help from the pedal but both of those situations are rare. |

Answer: | It sort of gives min cfm (2) / psi (40) in the pictures of the product. Smaller compressor should be ok, but will take a little longer, since you will need to wait for it to catch up every so often. I've used this with a 4 gal Makita compressor and had to do each wheel with about 5-6 pauses: run it for 15 seconds, stop, wait 30-60 seconds for the compressor to catch up, run another 15 seconds. |

Answer: | The unit doesnt hook to the master cylinder, it hooks to the brake bleeder screw at the drum or caliper and vacuum pulls fluid down from the Master Cylinder through the brake system and out the bleeder. The YouTube Video on it, mentions pulling old fluid out of the Master Cylinder, but that is simply inserting the hose in the master cylinder and vacumming the old out like a straw in a cup. |

Answer: | No, the catch bottle will have to be purchased separately. The 1108 bleeder comes with the main supply bottle in the pic with an attachment cap that screws onto the brake fluid reservoir and two rubber gaskets that are for the cap. |

Answer: | If you are installing a new or unused re-manufactured master cylinder it should be bench bled before attaching brake lines. After it's bled and installed attach the brake lines fill the reservoir of the m.c. with proper brake fluid ,add brake fluid to the bleeder and attach bleeder and bleed in the proper sequence - usually the furthest away from the master cylinder to the closest. |

Easy to Bleed the Brake Oil
1. Make sure vehicles master cylinder reservoir is full and clean brake bleeder valve before the use.
2. Bleed the system in the following order:
a. Master cylinder (If bleeder equipped)
b. Wheel cylinders and calipers in succession, beginning with the wheel closest to the master cylinder and progressing to the one farthest from it
3. Assemble the brake clutch fluid bleeder tool according to following sequence: Hand pump - 4" hose - transfer cover "To Pump" side - 4" hose to the bottom of the transfer cover & storage jar - 20" hose - proper size adapter - vehicle brake bleeder valve
4. Attach the brake bleeding fitting to the bleed screw and pump the brake bleeder pump 10-15 times to create a vacuum in the storage jar (If the brake bleeder screw is not sealed well, the air will go into the transparent hose, and you will see bubbles. There are three sizes of brake bleeder screw adapters, please choose the most appropriate size adapter. Grease the brake bleeder screw if it cannot be completely sealed when use.)
5. Open the vehicle’s brake bleeding fitting 1/4-1/2 turn and allow about 2 in of fluid to flow into the storage jar
6. Fill the master cylinder reservoir back to normal with fresh fluid and proceed to the vehicle’s next brake and perform the same steps as above

Answer: | It is supposed to be "universal" but most of us know that "universal fit" usually means "universally poor". I would suggest getting a specific cap designed to fit your vehicle class. Most run in the $20 to $40 range. Then the bleeder will work very well. |
