Answer:	I would use a paste wood polish and apply it by hand with a pad or soft rag. Use the buffer to shine when the polish has set a few minutes. Don't overdo it by exerting a lot of pressure on the table top.

Answer:	Go around and apply it to the entire vehicle in one go. That will give the first panel enough time to cure and you can begin buffing off the now dry, hazy wax.

Answer:	I use both, the paste works good on all cars and easier to buff out. The liquid takes longer to dry and smears when use too much. If you have a black or dark color car the paste is your best choice.

Question:	can you use a 10 pad
Answer:	Yes that’s basically what I use is 10” polishing pad for aluminum and stainless steel. I use a 6000 rpm for cutting then use this one for final stage of polishing since it’s a lower rpm at 3500. I like this one for final stage as I can turn it down to 2000 rpm for a final mirror finish.
Question:	will a 4 inch pad be compatible
Answer:	Can, I use a 5 inch. I usually buy DeWalt products but this one I don't really recommend. I would go for the Makita. This polishe has a problem with 800 then to 600. It's very troublesome with product flying.

Question:	I have this machine...what do i need to do to learn how to correct paint to a great finish
Answer:	Go to the junk yard and buy several panels. Use the machine for about 200 hours. (No, I'm not kidding). THEN, you can use it on an actual car. Not saying that you can't use it before then without screwing something up bad, but don't come near my car with it! Seriously, watching Youtube and all is great but do not use this without some practice on things that won't matter if you screw up. Also, learn the difference between things you do with this that you can fix (like with a random orbital) and things you do that you can't fix.

Answer:	I used the sponge that comes with the product. I think if you have one, you can use it, but you don’t have to have one.

Answer:	Yes, you can use this with any buffer for best results.
Question:	Does this product removes superficial keys scratches
Answer:	Yes, this will definitely help you with key scratches. Do note, that if they are very deep, and you can feel them with your fingernail, it will not be able to correct it 100%. If they are smaller scratches and you do not feel them with your fingernail, this should definitely take care of it!

PPGJ01A Buffer Polisher Operation Steps

1. When power is on, press the trigger, without speed, please press the acceleration switch, then the digital screen will show 10, it symbolizes 1000rpm.

2. With 6 variable speed, the digital screen figure 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30, separately symbolizes 1000rpm, 1400rpm, 1800rpm, 2200rpm, 2600rpm, 3000rpm.

3. It has a power-off memory function. When you press the power switch, it will keep the same speed as power off last time. Therefore, you don’t need to set the speed again.

Question:	Is this compatible with a meguiar 6 in backing plate
Answer:	The backing plate is removable on the waxer/polisher by removing a screw that is recessed in the center of the apparatus. Any backing plate that is 6-inches should fit the waxer/polisher, but from my own experience I have never removed or replaced the back plate with another one. Robs Custom Creations

Question:	I got one as a gift and was wondering if the base (where you put the bonnet on) is it supposed to wobble up and down like it's unbalanced
Answer:	I wobbles so it won't burn the paint. The buffers that don't wobble and have a variable speed will burn the paint if you are not careful. An inexperienced person can make serious using the type that does not wobble.
Question:	Can a different pad (or back plate) be fitted to allow sanding disks to be fitted
Answer:	There is a centered philips head screw which holds the back plate in place. so I guess you could mount a different plate to it.

How To Use It:

1) Shake well and apply 4-5 drops of V36 to Orange Pad.

2) Prime pad with Pad Conditioner.

3) Dab product out evenly across 2' x 2' section.

4) Turn on machine on surface to speed setting 1 to spread product.

5) Increase speed to 5-6 and using moderate pressure.

6) Work area in 2-3 passes until product becomes clear.

7) Examine results. If you are satisfied with results, proceed to step 10.

8) If you are not satisfied with results, try using V34 with the Orange Pad; if you are satisfied, proceed to step 10.

9) If an even more aggressive approach is needed, switch to the Yellow Cutting Pad.

10) Refine finish with white pad and V38 Final Polish.

11) Work until optical clarity is achieved.

12) Remove residue with clean microfiber towel.

Answer:	The pads I received with this kit are the 5.5" variety.
Question:	Can this polisher used for waxing too
Answer:	Yes. You pick what type of wax, compounds, glaze(s), you want to use. This machine is replacing the elbow grease you would be needing with a rag. But the chemicals and steps you choose to take to make that final car of yours shine is what you need to figure out. Chemical guys has plenty of great products and great you tube videos and tutorials. This machine works great. Just gotta know what waxes and othe products you need based on the current condition of the paint/car is in.
Question:	Whats the difference between this and the 10fx
Answer:	This one is 680 watts, fx is 700. The overall shape differs also, if you are going to do your own cars this is fine, if your doing this for business get the fx.
