How To Use It:

1) Shake well and apply 4-5 drops of V36 to Orange Pad.

2) Prime pad with Pad Conditioner.

3) Dab product out evenly across 2' x 2' section.

4) Turn on machine on surface to speed setting 1 to spread product.

5) Increase speed to 5-6 and using moderate pressure.

6) Work area in 2-3 passes until product becomes clear.

7) Examine results. If you are satisfied with results, proceed to step 10.

8) If you are not satisfied with results, try using V34 with the Orange Pad; if you are satisfied, proceed to step 10.

9) If an even more aggressive approach is needed, switch to the Yellow Cutting Pad.

10) Refine finish with white pad and V38 Final Polish.

11) Work until optical clarity is achieved.

12) Remove residue with clean microfiber towel.

Detailers can easily switch between 3 inch, 5 inch, and 6 inch backing plates for improved versatility. TORQ Tools applied a Streamlined Integration engineering approach to make the TORQX accept 3’’, 5’’, and 6’’ backing plates without extensive modifications, or voiding of warranties. Simply use the included TORQ wrench to remove and swap backing plates to handle any size job. Traditional dual action polishers require extensive modification and counterweight changes to change pad sizes without voiding the warranty. Different detailing jobs require different size buffing pads and backing plates. The TORQX comes equipped with a durable 5” backing plate for use with all 5.5 inch buffing and polishing pads. 5.5’’ pads strike the perfect balance to polish flat and curved panels with ease.

The extended comfort front handle grip, tailored body length, and 5’’ backing plate size maximize leverage and polishing efficiency, and minimize the pressing force needed to polish paint effectively. TORQ engineers also placed the speed control dial in the middle of the body of the TORQX: right above the user’s thumb during operation. Intuitive placement of speed controls keeps detailers focused on the job with adjustments easily made on the fly. Integrated cooling vents channel air through the handle to cool the motor, buffing head, and counterweight for extended polishing jobs and machine lifespan. The power switch is tucked away from the action at the back end of the machine, and is easily reached while still controlling the machine through shutdown with one hand.
