Answer:	Helen,Well... with the lid up and the seat in place... it's approximately 15" high. I am 5' 10" and 195 lbs and have no problems with it. If using it on a flat surface it's a little low, but if using it for camping, simply take 3 bricks with you and level it out. This will raise it well over 2".The best thing is, just use CHEAP 13 gallon bags and don't pay the ridiculous price for the "Doodie" bags. The worst thing is, the hole could be bigger but is OK. And we leave ours set up because the legs are a little hard to break down because the plastic locks are extremely tight.Over all, it was a good purchase and we recommend it.

Answer:	A bedpan might not fit between the legs, however using simple plastic bags that you get from grocery stores does the job just fine; double up for added protection. The grocery bags fit perfectly and are far more affordable than the expensive 'recommended' bags.

Answer:	You're correct. It's 9 in. front to back and 8 1/4 in. wide. You made me curious, so I measured my bathroom toilet. It's considered a long bowl and measures 10 in. front to back and the same 8 1/4 in. wide. Thank you for helping me learn something new. If I'm ever confronted by a mugger who says "tell me how big your toilet is or I'll blow your head off" I now know the answer. You may have saved my life!
Question:	What happens after 50 flushes? Is there a battery and is it replaceable? Not enthusiastic about purchasing a new one every 50 flushes
Answer:	There are two halves, top half has a cap to fill clean water and a plunger to push the clean water into the tank. The bottom half is for the waste which needs to be empty. There is an indicator in the front to let you know when it's due. I empty it about 3/4 full. I made the mistake once when the level was all red, DON'T DO THAT! 3/4 is best. To break down the waste, I use Walex Bio-Pak (for breaking down waste) and Porta-Pak (deodorizer), one each. I put them after setting it up and after each cleaning. It almost completely turns it into liquid. Fresh scent porta-pak seems to smell better (blue package) than lavender (purple package), however bio-back (green package) IS DEFINITELY NEEDED to break down waste. After the bottom tank gets full, (more like 40 flushes than fifty) it needs to be emptied, rinsed out with clean water and set back up. After its set up put in one bio-pak and one porta-pak. You can order through Amazon for those. The water tank, upper portion holds about 2.5 gallons (about 9.5 liters), I don't pull the plunger all the way up, only about half way or as needed. This way it conserves on water. Hope this helps.

When I have to get up during the night, my legs stiffen and it was soooo dang hard to get up and walk to find a toilet during the middle of the night while out camping. I put this little commode right inside inside my tent with me (only urine during the night). I use plastic bags from Smiths and use 4 little strips of duck tape to tape it down. Wahlaw... I'm good for the night. In the morning I just tie up the bag and toss it out. Get a new bag ready for the next night. I love this toilet!!! Now, with all that said, I do wish the manufacturer would have designed it just a little bit higher like 2" more. That would have made this thing absolutely perfect!!! But, I think it's still a lot better and a lot more 'stabler' (especially when you're heavy) than using a bucket!

Answer:	Considering the drop-ins (packets) are made for a 40 gallon holding tank - not a 5 gallon holding tank it's ridiculous to use those in any 5gal toilet. I use the liquid. I pour in about 1 ounce of the TST liquid because the on the back of the bottle it says 4 oz per 40 gallons. So it would be 1 ounce per 10 gallons. So technically all you need is 1/2 ounce per 5 gal. :)

Question:	Premium vs. Standard, pros and cons
Answer:	Premium has a pump flush which cleans a little better by having 2 jets to clean bowl vs. 1. It has a spout that is suppose to make it easier to empty when full but it's just a gimmick. I like the standard poor hole which can't break or leak as easily. Overall, I think I would have picked the Premium because I like the flush pump better then putting all your weight on the round plastic flush coil. Not bad just less efficient. Either is good but for a few bucks more get the premium or go with one that has the electric flush button. That works more easily and its cool.
Question:	Can i be confident transporting this while full in an suv that it won't spill sewage into the interior
Answer:	Just recently I was driving down a hill, with my toilet in the back of my van, a car in front of me slammed on their brakes causing me to slam on mine. Everything from the back of my van came flying to the front, I looked back and saw that my toilet was upside down. I was horrified. When I got a chance to pull over I went back and was relieved to discover that nothing leaked out of the sewage tank. Some water did leak out of the top part where you store clean water to flush the toilet. I am definitely looking for away to secure the toilet better to the floor so that doesn't happen again. If I could have logged on and given the toilet 10 stars at that point I would have.

Question:	I have a room above my barn that will sleep 4 for a week. I am thinking of installing this in an extra stall probably for night use. Thoughts
Answer:	Living in the country with a barn too , I'd say thats a great idea. Wish I had a guest room in the barn. In a stall inside the barn is a perfect place for this port a potty so ladies dont hafta go outside in middle of nite or 1st thing in morn. If it works good inside my house will work gr8 in the barn.
Question:	I am converting a shed into living space. Could I use this vs. installing a septic system
Answer:	A composting toilets is $1000. This is $70. I lived in my Airstream and this was my toilet.( Only #1 went in the holding tank for #2 put a grocery sack over the bowl ) I used it probably 5 times a day. After three months the rubber gasket got worn out on the flusher. Rigged it for a month .the remaining 5 months I just used my shower head sprayer which was a foot away. I am now ordering #2. I can buy this 14 times for the cost of a composting toilet..that plus my #2 go in the trash every day usually within 10 minutes of the bootycakes arrival..they don't compost inside my tiny space
Question:	Can this be emptied into your residential toilet? I had one in a popup camper that you could empty the cassette in a regular toilet
Answer:	You can as long as it is not overloaded with toilet paper & other solids.
Question:	How much water per flush is recommended? How many days of one person using it for mostly "solids" would it work for
Answer:	Well this unit holds about 5 gallons of water, each flush is less then quater of gallon depending how many times you pump to dispose the waste. 1 to 3 flushes should do it. It has a decent pressure, not like a real toilet but enough to clean the bowl. I took it with me camping and I had three females ranging from 7 and 34 years, of age. Believe it or not I only had to dispose the waste every two to three days depending on use.

Camco's 5.3 gallon portable toilet is designed for camping, RVing, boating or any other recreational activity. It is also great as an emergency option on long car rides. Its sturdy polyethylene construction is compact and lightweight. It weighs only 11.5 lb empty, but supports up to 330 lb. Each Camco Portable Toilet comes with TST Orange Drop-In samples. It measures 16.38H x 13.75W x 16.13D inches.

The Flush Tank

The top half flush tank holds 2.5 gallons of fresh water and has a toilet with a lid, seat and bowl. On the top of the toilet, there is a cap that can be removed to fill the flush tank with clean water. On the other side there is the bellows-type pump that flushes the water into the tank for waste removal. The sides feature latches for securing the toilet to the waste tank.

The Waste Tank

On the bottom half waste tank, there is a sliding gate valve that opens for waste, and closes to create an odor and water-tight seal. It has a 5.3 gallon waste holding capacity. The back of the waste tank has a cap that can be removed for easy emptying. The sides of both the top and the bottom have handles for easy transport.
