Answer:	The existing cover on the awning, looking at the camper it is located at the top of the right hand arm. From what I've read on Lipperts website in the manuals it will fund with old and new style covers. This motor is a replacement for an already power awning, not for conversion I don't think.

Answer:	I just got the 14 x 14 cushion for the vent, but tried it for the skylight in the shower and used the shower's blackout shade to close the gap. In less than 2 minutes the top of the cushion was HOT and I could feel significant heat coming through the blackout shade. The cushion made an instant difference. Tomorrow I'm going to hunt down foam like Shiela did to close off the skylight. It's 103 outside right now at 5:30 pm and will be 107 in a few days.

Answer:	I don't know if that would work, but you may want to install one first and see if that is sufficient. We installed one to replace the original fantastic fan in our truck camper and that is sufficient to keep air moving. We normally open windows over bed at far end and keep others closed so that the air is pulled all the way through. I don't know how big your van is but one is enough for our 10' truck camper.
Question:	Does this fan come with screen and inside trim? I need the complete package
Answer:	Yes it has on the fan controls. The remote also comes with a mount to place on the wall, so it won't be misplaced.

Answer:	This roof cap is designed for 3"-4" duct. Range hoods or other exhaust fans in the kitchen require a larger duct than 3-4". This can not be used in this project or application.
Question:	Does this have to be mounted flat/level or can it be installed in a wall or in an angled roof
Answer:	The 636Al is designed for a ta shingle type roof. You may want to contact the manufacturer for the roof for suggestions on Roof caps. Many times they are best able to direct these concerns.

Question:	Does this cover fit over a 14in dome and can I still open the dome from the crank inside
Answer:	The Camco vent cover that I purchased was for a replacement for one of the vent covers originally installed on my trailer in 2008. I would consider a 10 year life span especially in the hot southern sun more than acceptable.

Answer:	# 40431 has a front vent that's can removed for cleanup inside
Question:	How well will stand up to hail
Answer:	No it won't. Because the fantastic fan is electric it will open all the way or until it comes upon an obstruction, which is what will happen with this cover. It is not tall enough to let the cover open all the way. There are special covers for Fantastic Fans called Fantastic Vents. Amazon offers one in white with a number UB 1500WH but if you want one in smoke or black you may have to go somewhere else. I bought my black one at Camping World. The sell online too.

RV Roof Vent Cover

Camco RV Roof Vent Cover is designed to allow fresh air ventilation and light into your RV, rain or shine. RVs can get pretty stuffy when they’re all closed up, but having a constant flow of fresh air through the cabin will help keep the RV feeling and smelling fresh. The aerodynamic cover offers high flow ventilation with a design that allows you to keep it open when it’s raining, or even when you’re traveling. It is easily installed with included mounting hardware by mounting to the existing 14 inch x 14 inch roof vent. Vent cover made of rugged UV stabilized resin with removable louvers for easier cleaning. Available in five different colors.

How it Works

The Camco Roof Vent Cover installs over your RV Roof Vent, allowing you to open your roof vent during rain or shine and without impeding air flow. The removable louvers allow you easy access to your roof vent for maintenance and cleaning. For installation you will need a pencil, a drill with a 3/16 inch bit, a Phillips head screw driver and a crescent wrench. The rest of the materials are included with the product. To install the Vent Cover, first center it over your roof vent with the louvers facing the rear of the RV and mark the location of the slots with your pencil. Lay the mounting bracket on the roof so that the slot intersects one of the marked locations that are closest to the corners of the vent frame. Mark the locations of the screw hole in the vent bracket onto the vent frame and drill through the frame using the 3/16 inch diameter drill bit. Place one of the carriage bolts up through the bracket slot and fasten the bracket to the roof vent and frame using a #8 screw, washer, lock washer and nut which are provided for you. The washers and nuts will go on the inside of the vent frame. Install the other three brackets in the same way. Once all four of your brackets are installed, place the vent cover over the four carriage bolts and attached with the ¼ inch washers, lock washers and nuts. Before you tighten it, make sure the square heads of the carriage bolts are seated in the bracket slots to prevent them from turning. Do not over tighten. There will be a gap between the vent and your RVs roof- this is normal and will help prevent condensation. Your RV Roof Vent Cover is now installed and ready for use!

Question:	what is the diameter at the base
Answer:	Broan NuTone needs to correct their description. I purchased purchased this vent trusting that it would withstand wind, snow, and hail because it was made of 22 gauge cold rolled steel with an aluminum finish. The entire vent is made of aluminum and the cover part is a light gauge.
Question:	My pipe is only one inch interior diameter. Would this work on it
Answer:	The mounting flange (square part that goes against the wall) is about 8 x 8 inches. You will need to drill holes in it to screw it to the wall. The pipe is 6-inches diameter and only about 1-inch from the mounting flange. The vent pipe should be crimped (rippled) to fit inside this short stub. It will only slip inside about 3/4 inch as there is a (small) spring clip which holds the flap return spring in place.

Answer:	I used this cover for a 2005 Toyota Highlander and it is larger than I really needed. It made well and I would recommend it . I believe it will be a bit big for your vehicle, but bigger is probably better than a bit too small.

Answer:	It does not come with the screen, only the louvre vents. Nothing states that a screen is included. Max Air sells the screen separately and Amazon has them for approx $14. A screen is not actually needed because there is a screen on your roof fan already.

Answer:	The Fanmate cover will stop the fan cover from opening all the way but it is designed to work that way. Install the Fanmate and then operate your Maxfan as usual. They work great!

Answer:	There really isn't much play in my installation. Also, since ours is in a two behind trailer we wouldn't notice any notice. It's a great unit. You could add a few washers to take up any slack if need be.

Answer:	Here are the complete dimensions.. edge to edge the base is 5 1/4 inch diameter.. mounting holes are 4 13/16 inch center to center on the diameters. 6 mounting holes 2 3/8 inch centers on the circumference, can slip over a 2 3/8 O.D. Pipe a max of 2 inches above the mounting surface. I haven't mounted mine yet as winter kept me from going on the roof, so I was able to measure it for you.. But it is a nicely made unit and I'm very happy with it.

Answer:	The base has screws to secure to the roof. The cap has a tension spring to hold it to the base (no screws required). Answer:	Yes. You can shut the unit entirely off so that it (assumedly) consumes no power at all. We rarely use ours in the "thermostat" mode. The only time we do is when driving down the highway in hot weather, when our vehicle alternator keeps the battery full charged at all times. When in the RV, we set it manually (blow in, blow out, fan speed).

Answer:	The MAXXFAN is designed for a nominal 12 Volt DC system and requires a circuit capable of supplying a minimum of 5 amps to the MAXXFAN. Confirm that the circuit you intend to use will accommodate the additional load. Use the proper gauge stranded wire for electrical connections.
