User questions & answers
Question: | I want a fan for white noise. Is this loud enough to drown out footsteps and voices |
Answer: | I had two |
Question: | If I set my worries down in front of this fan will it blow them all away |
Answer: | Yes - If the 16ft standard line sets aren't long enough for where you plan to install your inside units, Senville will replace them with whatever length you need for an additional cost. 16ft was enough for one of my inside units, but I needed 35ft for the second one & 50ft for the third one. They only send 14/4 communication wire with the 16ft line sets so I bought 100ft from a big box home improvement store that sells DIY mini-splits. Worked perfectly. Just make sure the total length of your lines sets doesn't exceed the maximum length for the unit & that the vertical "drop" from the highest inside unit to the location on the ground where the outside unit will be sitting doesn't exceed the maximum either. In the U.S., outside units are charged with enough R410A Freon for a 25ft line set for each inside unit. The total length of my 3 line sets was 101ft (16+35+50) & my outside unit was charged for 75ft (25x3), so I needed to add R410A for an additional 26ft (101-75) - which was approximately 1/2lb. The amount of additional R410A you need to add for each additional foot can be found in the installation manual for the outside unit you buy. You can buy small cans of R410A made for "topping off" new systems when situations like this arise on eBay. |
Question: | can it blend pancake batter |
Answer: | 400sqft per ton or 12000 btu |
Question: | Will this fan work in the dark |
Answer: | Manufacturer says circuit breaker size should be 150% of 10.9 amps. This equals 16.35 amps. Take it to the next breaker size. Your answer would be 20 amp 2-pole breaker. #12 wire size will handle this. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I bought this but it came with no paperwork, no specs, nothing to indicate what amperage of fuse I should use. What amp do you recommend |
Answer: | Remote controller/transmitter is not waterproof. It is water-resistant only. The collar receivers are fully waterproof submersible. |
Question: | Is the overall size (housing) actually 10 " or is that blade diameter.I am tight in mounting space |
Answer: | Please go to this listing:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XAM2Q5W/ref=s9_acsd_hps_bw_c_x_3_wThanks. |
Question: | I'm looking for a fan for a diy bucket evap cooler. can you recommend a method for controlling fan speed of 7" upgr8 12v |
Answer: | The remote will shut off automatically if it is left untouched(no button is pushed) for about 2 hours. |
Question: | What kind of setup would I need to make this work from a 120 Volt home outlet |
Answer: | Good question. So the buttons on the remote are in a "U" shape around the "up/down" button that allows you to raise or lower the tone, vibration and static intensity (1 - 10). The 3 buttons on the bottom of the remote are labeled "A", "B", "C" which correspond to an individual receiver on the collar worn by the dog. Since ONE controller can control THREE collars you need only tap the letter (A,B,C) to activate the collar on the dog you wish to service. So yes, the remote has separate buttons for switching between each dog. Also, for each dog you can pre-set each of the 3 modes of correction's intensity level. So, for example, we have 2 dogs wearing collars with one (that we use the "A" button for) is worn by our 2 year old 115 lb dog and his tone is set to 10, vibrate is set to 8 and static shock is set to 3. If we want to administer a correction to the smaller 55 lb puppy (which we use the "C" button for) we press the "C" button and it switches the remote to HER presets of Tone set to 10, vibrate set to 8 and static shock set to 1. Because it remembers what the presets are for "A" and "C" (we skipped the "B" button intentionally to leave a gap so we don't inadvertently hit the wrong button) it basically becomes two separate remotes by choosing between buttons "A" and "C". A couple words of caution though; 1) You WILL accidentally from time to time hit "C" when you meant to hit "A" because you get a little mixed up as to which dog is assigned which button; 2) keep the dog's collars separate and mark them somehow so you always know you have the correct collar on the correct dog. Especially if you are like us and have two very different settings for them. 3) When you press the lettered button to switch which collar is being controlled it gives the dog an initial vibrate and defaults to the level to which you have pre-set vibrate to. They receive a short vibration which is usually enough to get their attention (about 1 second) and let them know that the remote is "Aimed" in their direction and is very often all you need. BUT.......if you do not then hit the tone or vibrate button, delivering the pre-set intensity for at least one of those items, BEFORE hitting the shock button than the dog will receive a shock at the default level you have displayed on your screen. That number will ALWAYS be whatever you pre-set the vibrate to. So if I switch over to the puppy by hitting the "C" button she will receive a quick 1 second vibration at level 8 because her vibrate is pre-set to 8 and thus so is the default "switch over" setting as well. Both her vibrate and tone buttons are set to 8, so whatever button I hit next will deliver a level 8 amount of stimulation. No matter if its tone, shock or vibrate she's getting the default 8. So hitting the tone or vibration button, which is ALREADY set at 8 will COINCIDENTALLY deliver the level "8" that's showing on the screen, JUST because you have pre-set vibrate, and thus the default "switch over" to "8". But at least we know she won't be getting more stimulation than we want her to receive since they are set the same. So if you follow the change over to the "C" button and then immediately hit the "shock" button following the "C" button then the puppy will receive a shock at whatever level you have the "vibrate" pre-set to (in our example its an 8). My wife and I have both switched from "A" to "C" (or vice versa) and then hit the shock button before hitting the actual vibrate or tone button which ultimately delivered a shock to the RIGHT dog but at a VERY WRONG level, followed by INTENSE guilt. And they will let you know too with the yelp. So to make a short story long.........Yes, the dogs have separate buttons designated to switch which collar the remote is controlling and DON'T have to switch back and forth using a single "toggle" type switch or button. And once you hit the letter for the collar (A, B, or C) you wish to control, the desired pre-sets automatically switch over to that dog as well. So its almost like having a separate remote control for each receiver (collar) without ever controlling both collars simultaneously. As a precaution, we always hit the tone button so we can hear which collar the sound is coming from and not only confirm we are operating the correct dog collar but also because it disengages the default "switch over" vibrate level and engages the pre-sets for all three types of stimulation. So even if the tone is pre-set to 10, the pre-sets are now engaged and would "shock" the dog on the PRE-SET level rather than the TRANSFER level which always defaults to the pre-set vibrate level. Also, make sure the collar is tight enough for diodes to be making constant contact with their neck. You may think they're not responding to a shock or vibrate so you slowly keep increasing by one level at a time. Then they move their head in just such a way that contact with their neck is made and a stronger than desired shock is delivered. Keep in mind, these are NOT voltage/amp type shocks. They are static type shocks that kids give each other by shuffling their feet on the carpet and then tapping a friend. Just with better and more consistent control of the intensity. I would never buy anything that delivered "shock therapy" to my dogs. That's like training them with a "waterboard." Most yelps you might get from them are the initial startling. It DOES make the vibrations FAR more effective when the dog believes you'll actually use the static option. I hope this made sense to you and I would be happy to clarify the bowl of mud I just wrote for you should you request any clarification. |

Heat resistant design for long lasting durability.
Puller and Pusher Design
Puller fans mount on the engine side (back) of the radiator core and pull air through the radiator core. The fresh airflow is pulled through the grille, then pulled through the core, and exits out the back side of the radiator. Puller fans are the desired and most common way of mounting a fan when space is not a limitation between the front of the engine and the back of the radiator core.
Pusher fans mount on the grille side (front) of the radiator core and push air through the radiator core. Fresh airflow enters through the grille, then is pushed through the radiator core, and exits out the back side of the radiator. Pusher fans are used typically where there is a limited amount of space for a properly sized puller fan.
Signature S Blade Design
UPGR8 signature Curved S Blade design, not only improves performance, but also offers more aggressive look and feel for your application.

User questions & answers
Question: | Where is it made |
Answer: | I am using a 10 amp fuse for the 12" 80 watt fan and it works. It says 6.6 amps so you might be able to get away with a 7.5 amp fuse, but 10s are easier to find and I didn't want to fuse too close to the operating level. |
Question: | Is this an oscillating fan |
Answer: | Just got the 10". With the mounting clips top and bottom it's 13"H x 11 1/2"W, giving about 1/16" clearance,, about the tightest you would want to go. 10 3/4"H TIGHT x 11 3/8" TIGHT w/o mounting clips. |
Question: | What parts do I need to install this fan in a GN horse trailer |
Answer: | I purchased a adjustable fan control switch from autozone. It was under $20. |
Question: | How many watts and amps does this fan require on high speed |
Answer: | Ignore those previous answers.......this will power it perfectly fine from a 120 outlet using this........B0111A92BK.......just copy and paste into amazon search. I use this power adapter to power a 12" 96w version fan in my boat from my generator and it works flawless. |

Question: | This fan has the right dimensions for use as an exhaust fan. Can it be mounted at top of an 18" wide kitchen window and plugged into regular AC |
Answer: | No.If you are wanting an AC 18" fan, why would you spend $63 when you can get them for under $20? |
Question: | what are the dementions / size |
Answer: | The box that encloses the 12-inch diameter fan is 13-1/4" x 13-1/4" by 3" thick. The feet add about 1-1/2" at the bottom (I unscrewed these because I hang the fan by the upper handle to move warm air; the handle adds about 1-1/2" height at the top. |
Question: | what is it's decibel level at low, med, and high |
Answer: | At a distance of four feet.Low. 54DBMedium. 58DBHigh. 61DBTaken with my $100.00 Radio Shack meter which I believe is accurate but is not calibrated. |
Question: | Can you tell me what the Amp/hr on this is? and really interested in knowing if it will drain or damage a car battery if used for 8 hr w/o ignition |
Answer: | Short answer: 8 hr use most likely will not even make a dent in the amount of charge left. I ran this fan ten hours straight on low speed in my camper and the battery was still showing 5/5 lights the next morning (no significant discharge). And yes, I realize car batteries are different from RV batteries, but the fact is it didn't even register so I'm confident a car battery can handle it as well. |
