Answer: | The Acronis WD Edition (a special eidtioin of Acronis Backup) did not work for me as it did not see the SanDisk drive on the USB dongle. I ended up using the full version of EaseUS Todo Backup but the free version of it would do the job as well. Both are Windows solutions but with Todo Backup you should be able to create the bootable CD/DVD on a WIndows machine then use it on anything else that will let you boot. Clonezilla is a Linux based solution that I've also used before but it's not as intuitive. You burn an ISO image to a CD/DVD or a USB stick (different version for the latter) and boot to it and follow the instructions. You create a bootable CD or DVD with Todo Backup after the Windows installation and boot to it (you may need to change your boot options in BIOS to be able to do that) with the SanDisk plugged into the USB. Choose the source drives (there's a small partition ahead of the drive C partition that you need to check), and any other partitions you created, then continue and choose the destination drive, the SanDisk. Choose "optimize for SSD" and then proceed and wait a long time (a few hours). The remaining time left indicator, like it is with many of these backup programs, will tel yo there's only 5 or 10 minutes left in the copy operation when it will take a few hours. I left mine go overnight and it was finished in the morning but in my experience, it would have taken only a few hours (I just didn't check until morning). You can continue to use the Todo Backup CD/DVD you created to back up your PC/laptop to an external hard drive for regular backup. The full (paid) version allows you to restore incremental backups so I feel it's worth the money, but if you always only make a full backup, the free one will do nothing more for you. |

Answer: | I have MANY SSD's in MANY older laptops and in MANY 2.5" USB drive cases, and have never had to worry about a SATA cable. For laptops and such USB cases, you just slide the drive as is, into the SATA interface pins -- it only will go one way, and you're done. If you're going to install this 2.5" form factor drive into a desktop or tower machine, you should get a kit to do so. It should come with proper adapters and the needed SATA cable for THAT specific application. I have never, ever, seen such a drive come with a SATA cable, as in the vast majority of cases, it simply isn't needed. My laptops span the 2008 to 2014 manufactured date range. |

This module features the MPU-9250, which is a multi-chip module (MCM) consisting of two dies integrated into a single QFN package. One die houses the 3-Axis gyroscope and the 3-Axis accelerometer. The other die houses the AK8963 3-Axis magnetometer. Hence, the MPU-9250 is a 9-axis MotionTracking device that combines a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis magnetometer, and a Digital Motion Processor (DMP). The MPU-9250 also features an embedded temperature sensor. This module includes pull-up resistors on the SDA, SCL, and nCS lines, pull-down resistors on the FSYNC and AD0 lines, and an on-board 3.3V voltage regulator allowing you to power the module from 5V sources such as an Arduino. Answer: | The SK Hynix is faster than the Samsung. Just FYI,.. Hynix makes chips for just about “EVERYBODY” they just haven’t made SSD drives per se’ and marketed them under their own name until recently. Chances are, other SSDs “might” be using Hynix chips. It is a very fast and solid SSD. There have been numerous reports of Samsung issues as of 2018 so they aren’t as reliable as most think. Still generally speaking Samsung SSDs are decent. PCWORLD did a review in 2020 and rated the SD Hynix much better than the Samsung in speed with the same reliability and 5-year warranty. I own both SSDs and have had no problems with either. The Hynix is however the faster drive. I choose the SD Hynix. |

Answer: | Just a bit of a history lesson. LG used to make semiconductors back in the day, as did Hyundai. But the competition was too hot in South Korea and there was a financial crisis in 1997 (like Greece 2009). Conglomerates shifted and merged businesses (Samsung sold its car production to Renault, Hyundai bought Kia, etc.). This is a three axis accelerometer for the LilyPad system. Based on the ADXL335 MEMS accelerometer from Analog Devices, the LilyPad Accelerometer can detect joint movement as well as inclination and vibration.
The ADXL335 outputs a 0V to 3V analog signal on each of the X, Y, and Z axis. You will need to convert this analog voltage to a gravity amount and use trigonometry to calculate a true ‘angle’. If you are not looking for tilt, it is very easy to use this sensor for basic motion sensing.

Answer: | There are 2 different sensors. This one is on the fuel rail behind the engine, near the brake master cylinder. The other one is CM5225 which is on the front of the engine on the passenger side. I replaced both, one at a time to correct a stalling problem after restart. The CM5250 seams to be what fixed our problem (2 weeks, no stalling). |
