TIPS FOR USING

Remove compressor, receiver drier or accumulator, orifice tube or expansion valve.

Flush the condenser and evaporator using NON-OIL BASED A/C flush. On expansion valve systems .

Drain all the oil from the new compressor and dispose of according to local, state and federal laws.

Install half oil charge into the compressor and the remainder throughout the system. Turn compressor shaft 8-10 full revolutions to insure front seal and other internal parts are lubricated.

Install new receiver drier or accumulator and new orifice tube or expansion valve.

Evacuate the A/C system for a minimum of one hour.

After evacuation install half the refrigerant charge and let the system set for 1 minute..

Start engine whit A/C controls on MAX AIR with door and windows open.

Add the remaining charge of refrigerant as called for by the manufacturer.

Answer:	The compressor is cheaply made, it won't work for Long. I returned the entire thing. Went with Hornblasters.com got the Conductor 554 Nightmare. Actual train horn, it's amazing

Answer:	I had mine installed. It's a piece of crap. It worked for about 8 weeks, went back to the installer 5 different times over a 4 month period. Couldn't get anywhere with the company. Refused to refund my money. The compressor is cheaply made and so is the entire unit. I went thru Amazon and got my refund. Went with Hornblasters.com have an amazing Conductor 554 Nightmare actual train horn.

Answer:	The horns screw into the base and though each horn can be removed they are not separate mounts. The air connection is attached to the base.

Answer:	You should always use a relay when you have something like this pulling amps. The heavy wire should come from the battery and the trigger wire should come from your horn or aftermarket switch to energize the relay.

The Safety Blow-off Valve

The Safety Blow-Off valve is outfitted in case of emergencies. When a pressure switch goes bad and continues to keep your compressor on, over pressurizing the tank could cause it to explode. The Safety Blow-Off is rated for a pressure that is a little bit higher than your Pressure Switch.

The Air Gauge

The Air Gauge is used to monitor the air pressure in the tank. Having an Air Gauge is highly important for diagnosing issues with the onboard air system. Simply having an Air Gauge installed could save you time and money by knowing exactly what issue you are having instead of having to guess.

The Pressure Switch

The pressure switch is the component that is responsible for turning on and off the air compressor automatically, the most important part in a train horn kit. It is weather resistant, comes with a built-in relay.

The Drain Valve

Answer:	2015 Silverado Lt. I have 6 individual trumpets in between the grill and the radiator. They are mounted around the edge of the radiator not to block air flow for cooling. 4 compressors are mounted in the front of engine compartment, two of the trumpet lines are 4'FOOT, and then the rest are at 3FOOT. They sound great and are LOUD! 4' would get you from the cowl in engine compartment up the windshiel/door piller to one side or other between roof liner and roof. You can test out the trumpet hose lenght before you do all that work. All together 6ct in my truck are VERY LOUD!!! Trains though still out do me but not by much .LOL signed, Huh?

Question:	does anyone have a video of what these horns sound?like
Answer:	Black paint use a Microfiber wash mitt with 2 bucket method. Can even use 2 mitts one for uppers and 1 for lower panels to reduce risk of wash marks and swirling. Most swirling is from improper washing.
Question:	I would like to know if I can order the clinoid off the trumpets separately
Answer:	I can't say how soft the bristles are but I use this to wash my truck. I personally wouldn't use it to wash a car with a nicer finish.

Answer:	I have purchased this horn. It lasted about a week past the deadline to return it to Amazon. Would not recommend. Complete waste on Chinese import.
Question:	Can this be mounted outside of the truck and won’t hurt it to be in weather
Answer:	I'm going to say not recommended. Being made in China, it's kind of chinsy. One rain alone would probably do in the gauge. The rubber boot over the thermal overload is open and doesn't protect the terminals under it. You would be taking a chance.
