Bushnell is a well-known brand in the field of optics, including binoculars designed for stargazing. They offer a range of binoculars that cater to the needs of astronomers and stargazers. Here are some key features and models related to Bushnell binoculars for stargazing:
Bushnell Powerview Binoculars: The Powerview series from Bushnell includes a variety of binoculars suitable for basic stargazing. These binoculars are often affordable and offer good value for beginners or casual astronomers.
Bushnell PermaFocus Binoculars: PermaFocus binoculars from Bushnell are designed for easy and convenient stargazing. They have a fixed focus, which means you don't need to constantly adjust the focus knob to view celestial objects. This makes them user-friendly for beginners.

Bushnell Image Stabilized Binoculars: For those who want exceptionally steady views of the night sky, Bushnell also offers image-stabilized binoculars. These binoculars use technology to reduce hand tremors and provide a stable view of celestial objects, which is especially useful for high-magnification stargazing.
Bushnell Night Vision Binoculars: Bushnell also offers binoculars with night vision capabilities. These are ideal for observing celestial objects in low-light conditions or for moon and star gazing in the dark.
Aperture and Magnification: When choosing Bushnell binoculars for stargazing, consider factors like the aperture size (the diameter of the objective lenses) and magnification. Higher aperture sizes allow more light to enter, providing brighter views of celestial objects, while higher magnification allows you to zoom in on specific targets.
Remember that the suitability of a particular Bushnell binocular model for stargazing depends on your specific needs and preferences. Factors such as portability, field of view, and budget should also be considered when selecting the right pair of binoculars for your stargazing adventures.

User questions & answers
Question: | are these good for a thousand yards target shooting |
Answer: | No. I don't believe any big buck spotting scope could do it. I've shot 1000 yard NRA sanctioned matches. Spotters in the pits below the targets put a large marker on the target and that you can see with a very good quality spotting scope,if the mirage is not too bad. At a 1000 yards a car would be a speck with these binoculars. |
Question: | We're going to use these for only backyard birding, but I noticed that these new binocs have a "close focus" of 25 feet. Is that normal |
Answer: | "Normal" depends on your typical use. If you typically will be watching birds that are not closer than 25 feet they will be fine. Birds closer than 25 feet will be out of focus. Most of the better "bird watching" binoculars have a close focus of 12 feet or less. |
Question: | does this set of binoculars come with a strap and case |
Answer: | Yes, they come with a case, strap, lens caps, and a lens cleaning cloth. They are a fine pair if binoculars. I purchased 10 of them for my passengers to use on a Mississippi Riverboat to watch the nature unfold on the banks and couldn't be happier with the product and quality. We are in our second season with them and I haven't had a single problem one! |
Question: | Does this set of Binoculars come with Lens cups for protection |
Answer: | If cups and caps are the same thing, then yes, this set comes with lens covers. HOWEVER, they are constantly falling off, so they are really of no use for protection. |

Answer: | Yes it’s original Bushnell product!! |
Question: | does these come with a tri pod mount |
Answer: | I have no idea about that |
Question: | Puedo usarlos con un tripode de rosca |
Answer: | I can't give you an exact number on the coatings, what I can give you is that since I've owned my Bushnell primarily for maritime use, in a harsh marine environment the lens has never delaminated or faded, you will get a durable, well designed, fairly compact pair of binocular at a reasonable price. Hope this helps. Carlos |
Question: | How close is 20x50 on the Bushnell Binoculars |
Answer: | I have both 10/50 and 20/50 but I would recommend 10/50 since in 20/50 lots of adjustments we have to make than also we cannot focus properly but with 10/50 lenses it’s perfect!!! |

Designed specifically for serious birders and naturalists, the NatureView 8x 42mm Roof Prism Binoculars from Bushnell offer ultra close focus capabilities that allow you to take in the details without getting pecked in the head. Thanks to premium, BaK-4 prism glass, these binoculars provide high-level image transmission. Meanwhile, the fully multi-coated lens surfaces reduce light loss and glare due to reflection for brighter, higher-contrast images and reduced eyestrain. Extended eye relief delivers greater comfort--especially for eyeglass wearers during long observation periods. And, focus adjustments are simple, thanks to the textured center focus knob. The roof prism system in these binoculars creates a sturdier, more streamlined build that is both waterproof and fogproof. Finally, non-slip rubber armor provides a stable grip and adds further protection for the optics. Built to last, the binoculars carry a limited lifetime warranty from Bushnell.

User questions & answers
Question: | does this product come with a carry case |
Answer: | High Definition |
Question: | Do these come with a case and strap |
Answer: | Everything I've read online indicates Nitrogen. |
Question: | Any concerns with the third party seller options? Ones you recommend going through? It's a big investment and I want to make sure it ends up going ok |
Answer: | What are the size of the object and how much detail do you need? 12x is about the most magnification I could see using without a tripod or something to mount it to. I was looking at deer 500+yrds out in November, and with 10x42 and I could just make out one fork horn buck in a group of 8-12 deer after a good bit of time, but the was some issues due to the sun in the back ground and the deer coming in and out of shadows. |
Question: | What size are these? The other binoculars show the measurements. I don't want anything too big. (Please do not respond unless you are able to answer |
Answer: | The measurements are (without the lens covers) 5.0 inches long, 5.0 in wide and 2.00 in high at the objective lens. Add .25 to width when including the lens covers. |

- Textured grip

- 100% waterproof, O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged for reliable, fog-free performance
- BaK-4 prisms and multi-coated optics offer crisp clear images with improved light transmission

User questions & answers
Question: | Do these binoculars come with a case and strap |
Answer: | yes |
Question: | Do these float |
Answer: | All inexpensive binoculars will have some play, or backlash, in the focus wheel. If this is something that bothers you, you will need to purchase a much more expensive binocular. The "upper-level" stuff will have very little backlash, and the high-end products will usually have no play. |
Question: | WHAT are actual dimensions |
Answer: | They do not provide enough magnification to be shaky, but they are not exactly light. I use them frequently from a hand-held or rested position with my elbows braced on a ledge. After a period of time my arms do get fatigued. The view is crisp, clear, and contrasty. |
Question: | Do these open out and in to make them wider or narrow in width |
Answer: | From what I can tell, only the camo models are on sale. The black finish is more. |
