Answer:	The indicator is the brake light itself.

Answer:	The only build it takes is the standard reverse light. Everything else is the red LED’s. These are fantastic, fit perfect and are bright and vibrant

Answer:	Definitely came with bracket and rubber mount bushings. I don't recall if it came with fittings, I believe it did come with straight fittings, but I needed to buy 90 degree fittings. Seems like a nice heavy pump. Installed on 440 Dodge motohome. Just use it to get it started after long term storage and in emergencies-t at carb. Run off engine fuel pump.

Answer:	This pump should work for this purpose - but you should be aware that it pumps at less than 1 gallon per minute and thus it would take a while for it to pump any large amount. I am using the pump to transfer diesel from my aux. tank to my main tank and am working on a system to shut the pump off when the fuel flow stops as I do not think that running the pump with no fuel is good for the pump.
Question:	Will this support 500hp
Answer:	On my old benz, pushing heavy WVO all the way to the front of the engine, it maintains around 8-10PSI. When the weather is warmer, or if I use a blend of WVO mixed with diesel it seems to reach around 12PSI. At this higher pressure, I can hear the pump cut off and on as it reaches its limit... pretty sure this is the way it's designed. Hope this helps. I've had mine installed since october last year and it's still going strong. My lift pump on my old benz gave out at the same time I installed this Carter pump. I knew it was about to go cause it could no longer pull the heavy WVO from the tank. This Carter pump is doing it all by its self and the car never ran so good (has as much power) as it does now. Answer:	I think that is up to you. I run mine through a filter and a return regulator that sends back the excess fuel to the tank so the carb is the priority.

Answer:	Yes to pumping diesel fuel. It is also sold as a replacement in-line pump for the 1981-86 Chevette Diesel and the 1981-82 Chevy LUV Diesel. GM Specifications are a free flow rate of 30 gph and a maximum pressure of 6 psi. It is not self-priming and has to mounted below the tank bottom. It comes with 3/8" barb hose fittings. Answer:	P60430 is rated at 4-6 PSI. If you need the same type of pump rated for 2-4 PSI, you will need part number P60504.

Answer:	Oscar, I remember now! It will work on six or twelve volts but will only pump 3 psi on six volts rather than 6psi on twelve volts. I chose this pump because I didn't want a pump that did more than 3 psi so it wouldn't overwhelm the float valve in the carburetor.

Answer:	It depends on the I. D. of the hose. This pump probably came with fittings that are too large for, example, 5/16" diam. rubber fuel line hose. Please advise the brand of the car and the O.D. of the fuel line tubing or the I.D. of the hose. It is possible you will need to purchase adadpters and smaller size fittings. This an excellent pump. I have it on my own car, a 1941 Cadillac.
Question:	I thought this was a marine pump which should have a vent... I don't see the vent
Answer:	Yes sir! I bought it for my 1949 Lincoln. We mounted a small toggle switch under the dash nice and hidden. I only use the pump to prime the car. Once it has fuel, I shut the pump off. Works GREAT! Positive ground and all. Just be sure to hook everything up properly. Good luck!

Carter fuel pump assemblies and kits are suitable for marine, off-road and passenger car applications with fuel pump pressure between 45-60 PSI. Most assemblies include the following components: fuel pump, tank seal, strainer, grommets and wire harnesses. Our fuel pumps fit right out of the box – with all major components needed for the repair included.

With assemblies, the in-tank fuel pump is susceptible to impurities, which enter the path and overtime affect the fuel flow. Carter exclusively provides CleanScreen technology* to better trap these finer particles with multi-layer internal and external strainers, offering 40% extra dirt-holding capacity.
