Question:	How many coats of base and how many coats of too coat are you supposed to use if you are touching up bare metal? I have a 2014 f150 ug paint
Answer:	Paint worked well on our new Flex. Had a small spot on the hood where the paint chipped off showing the metal. After trial and error (and wiping off the paint a few times), I had success with putting on two coats of base and then two coats of the frost. It's a pretty good match for the white platinum factory paint. Good luck! PS. Is your name really Calimari?

What to order to spray a door or fender:

The Basecoat dries to a matte finish (no gloss). It is necessary to apply a clearcoat over the basecoat for gloss, appearance, protection and long term durability. We well this a "package" - two cans (Basecoat + Clearcoat). Ford Absolute Black (color code G1) is also called Shadow Black and ABS Black, and yes this will match your 2020 Ford Ranger.
