Answer:	These will work very well for you at work. I use them all the time at work to reduce staff noise, and air conditioner room noise, etc. They are terrific and very, very comfortable!!

Answer:	I wear mine nightly for a week before replacing them. If you use them much longer than that, they change consistency, losing the "memory" that keeps them compressed. They become like normal spongy foam and don't block sound as well. I suppose they absorb moisture and/or wax from your ear.

Answer:	Each earplug should probably last at least 5 days. It will depend on how much earwax you produce. Ear wax will build up on the earplug. If you do not produce much ear wax, each plug could last 10 days or more.
Question:	Is this a Silicone based lube
Answer:	The decibel level they reduce is either 30 or 32. It says so on the package. But if you do not put them in your ears properly, then they will not work. You need to roll them evenly to a small tight cylinder shape, and hold your ear canal open by tugging on your ear lobe, then insert it into your ear canal, and let it expand and seal your ear canal. Take it out SLOWLY in the morning!

Answer:	If you start at zero, and put the tip on some higher object you get a reading, say. 0.2. If the unit shuts off, when you turn it back on it reads 0. If it has not been moved from the original position, when you then move the tip off the measured point, it will indicate how far the rod has moved, which is the reading the dial had before it went off automatically. If you move it off the measured point when it is in the auto off condition, it will read 0 when you restart because it always reads 0 at power up.

Answer:	Ford X-3-G-A silicone brake caliper pin grease is recommended for Fords - it is compatible with EDPM rubber, which I fear your Ford may have (not Nitrile or Buna N rubber). For safety's sake, use a silicone grease (Ford's is $13.44 on Amazon) or another silicone brake caliper pin grease. The permatex grease is petroleum based and may swell and damage your seals. Oil resistant seals (like Buna N) would hold up to the grease, but Ford may not have used that rubber.

Answer:	The 05353 is a larger (12oz) tub. Also, the 05359 (8oz) comes with a application brush integrated in the cap. I have not verified if the 05353 has this application brush but its doubtful since the top is very flexible unlike the smaller bottle which has a hard cap. Hope this helps...

Answer:	These are the new ones with the easy pull ends, not as pictured. I had to return them, too large for my ear.

Answer:	No, there isn't a huge difference. My beef with Amazon was that they advertised the product as a 33, but sent 32's instead. I used to buy the 33's from my local Bartell parmacy but after using for several years it's no longer available so I ordered from Amazon. I tried 3 other brands from Amazon, but none fit as well as the Hearos. The 32's are fine for noise reduction and don't fall out of your ears during the night.
