I have a sprained rotator cuff and road rash on that shoulder about the size of a 2” circle. This jacket for the money is absolutely worth it. I flipped and slid for 50 yard and ended up knocked out in the woods about 15’. Walked away with a sprained ankle and sprained shoulder. |

Very loose fit without liner in. The protective inserts make the jacket feel more snug at first, but after a while, you forget about them being there. I'm glad I have it. I don't wear it on every ride, but definitely on long trips and when I know conditions may not be great with road or light. I also added a high viz helment that almost matches the jacket. |

Now that lost some weight and after washing it a few times, wish I had gotten a small since the waist was always a bit loose. I fix it by using the clips inside the jacket that make it a bit snug. XL fits me exactly perfectly, allowing room for a cold weather layer underneath, but still not too loose even with the lining zipped out on the really warm days. It's like this thing was made to order for me. It even smaps around my (rather thick) neck neither choking me nor being loose. In a dress shirt, I wear a 17-inch collar, and a 33-inch sleeve, and my suit coats are 46 inches in the chest. I was most worried about it fitting around my belly, but no issues there at all.
