Answer:	Just wait a couple weeks until your tattoo is healed. Your artist shoulda told you these instructions. Imagine you got a new paint job on your car? You don’t want to take it mudding right away
Question:	How long do you wait to peel the plastic off? The skin is what you leave on for three or 4 days? And does it just naturally dissolve away? Thanks
Answer:	The hard plastic outer coating gets peeled off immediately after placing the adhesive side on the skin and pressing it down to bond. The “skin” that’s left I always removed the first application 2 days after the tattoo and put on a new application that I would leave 4-5 days and remove and then just apply lotion for a week until the tattoo was fully healed
Question:	I am going to the beach in a week but just got a new tattoo. Can I put this on to protect even though my tattoo artist did my tattoo a few days ago
Answer:	I am a tattoo artist. Even with the wrap over a fresh tattoo you risk infection by going into the ocean. You can still go to the beach, just try to keep the area out of direct sunlight and out of the water.
Question:	How long do you leave it on and how often should you change it
Answer:	I usually have my clients try to keep it on for 24 hrs minimum, with a maximum of three days. You have to be careful, if any body fluids leak, bandage must be taken off or if it peels back - it needs to taken off. Changing it depends on stage of healing and I suggest telling clients to come back in to change it - so you can make sure it is properly clean before re-bandage.
