Answer:	I got the Frozen movie Power Wheels mustang car about 4 years ago. The battery that came with it has just this month started having trouble. The Power Wheels mustang has an mp3 player and some electronics (lights and music). With the original battery, the car has started freezing up like a computer crash (wouldn't drive and couldn't turn off and on; had to be unplugged and replugged to restart the car). We have another 12V battery Power Wheels that is newer (2 years old) and doesn't have any electronics - just a motor. The newer car with the older battery drives fine but doesn't last for as long. The older car with the battery from the newer car drives fine with no computer crashes. So... 4 years if the Power Wheels has electronics and extras. Probably a little longer if the Power Wheels just goes forward and back but no music or sound effects. I have always kept the batteries inside overnight, so they have never been left out in the hot or cold, which might help them last longer. (I cover the cars with a tarp when the kids aren't riding.)

Answer:	Just got this and having the same issue. The front wheels don't contact the ground enough so it doesn't steer correct when on surfaces like concert or dirt. It does ok on grass. Either something is out of alignment or there just isn't enough weight in the front.

Answer:	Most batteries come with half charge. I used it right, but for only a few minutes. Then charged it up.

Answer:	Can’t say for sure. I would try doing a continuity test on the terminals. If there is continuity on all of the combinations then the switch may be defective. Test as you depress and release the switch with each combination. Mine has worked fine. Tests need to be done out of the machine. No wires connected. Maybe you have a sort or wire crossed somewhere else. Good luck

Answer:	The correct shifters for McQueen are H8256-2939 and J4390-9209. The 74310-9239 may or may or may not fit the hole. All shifters need to have the screw removed for top speed.
