Answer:	No it is not 12 volt DC or electric. It has no fan attached to it. The exhaust fan over stove will open the flap and let out the heat from stove. Make sure to open tabs on the outside holding down the flap so it will open when fan is running.

Answer:	These lights are regulated, which means the amperage drops as the voltage rises. This keeps the lights from dimming as the 12 volt battery discharges or goes from converter to battery power. I ran mine between 10 and 15.5 volts DC, I did not exceed 15.5 volts as most 12 volt DC charge systems don't exceed this voltage. The regulator falls out at 10 volts so anything below 10 volts will cause these lights to dim. At 10 volts DC the amperage was 280mA at 15.5 volts DC the amperage was 180mA.

The ring will not be available and, according to their customer support, the company only makes one case style per tablet, as the mold costs are high. Answer:	they should work fine. the base is the same as 1156, however they won't be as tall as the 1383 bulbs. so if you have a deep fixture, the light may shine more like a spot rather than a flood and astetically they might not look right.
