Answer:	Color is 3400°k. Whiter than standard OEM bulbs, but not bluish. Perfect for long distance vision. (Bluer bulbs actually reduce distance vision as the blue coating absorbs a lot of light; and the eye has a harder time seeing in the blue spectrum due to smaller number of rods in the eye sensitive to blue, and that blue focuses in a different part of the eye). Point being, you lose a lot with the "whiter" bulbs. I purchased a set of these in Feb. 2017 and they're still going strong. Especially so, considering that I'm running with DRL on. Best Halagen bulbs you can buy.

(obvious sarcasm). If a house bulb doesn't last that long with alternating current, why would you think a product is trash because it lasts 2 years (give or take) using direct current? Regardless a light bulb is a light bulb. They will always need replacing. It's only $27 every 2 years. To me when it comes to safety and staying alive.... I think that's beyond fair. :)

Answer:	These 9005 bulbs work fine as DRL's (Daytime Running Light). The high beams on my Mazda also do double duty running on reduced power as DRL's.

Answer:	Short life for only 11 months before it was burnt out. In comparison, the original Honda ones worked for more than 11 years!
Question:	With proper handling and install, approximately how long would these bulbs last
Answer:	These are not "Long Life" bulbs- like the originals in most cars, which have the "LL" suffix on their part numbers. These replacement bulbs outperform those originals by far, but the part you give up is the longevity. The original bulbs give up performance for longevity. You can have one, but not the other. If longevity is your primary concern, any high performance bulb will let you down in that regard. Personally, I run these and keep one of the original bulbs that I removed from the car as a spare in my glove compartment just in case one goes out when I need to drive at night. People will chime in with anecdotes about how theirs didn't last long and other with comments about theirs lasted 100 years... but in general, a performance bulb can't hold a candle to a Long Life bulb in terms of lifespan. If they blow out very quickly, it's likely they were touched or contaminated which will cause them to fail quickly. Some high performance bulbs carry a one year warranty- so check for warranties and keep your receipt. I gave up on Sylvania bulbs due to constant burn-outs and Philips has given me the best performance and reasonable longevity.

Answer:	Yes, it's normal headlight color, same as most original equipment from the auto manufacturer (OEM). Rated at 3300 K color temp, it's not "blue" and it's not yellow/amber. (Light color is relative, though. If you are used to fancy HID lights, which are VERY blue-white, then these bulbs might seem yellow-ish or warm-white).

Answer:	Since writing my first review I have found the one Extreme Philips IS somewhat brighter than the ordinary bulb on the opposite side. I would not worry about a warranty, Amazon vendor will likely take care of you if there is a problem.

Answer:	Yes- that being said the DOT does not certify products for legality. The DOT establishes standards that manufacturers must self-certify or 3rd party certify to meet. This is often a dead giveaway for fake or poorly made products: theh will claim "DOT Certofied," rather than stating that they are conpliant with the applicable regulations. The ECE reg, in this instance, is an equivalent standard for the SAE market.

Answer:	It took some searching but https://www.philips.co.in/c-p/12342XVPB1/x-tremevision-plus-headlight-bulb No it is not a fake. Just maybe they have a crap website. Not unheard of.
Question:	how long are they supposed to last
Answer:	My original review of the bulbs noted that they lasted almost exactly 1 year (only one went out but I was sure the 2nd was sure to follow). After research of this type of bulb, and with the intention of something that would last longer, I found that they generally do last only 1 Year. Its a trade off for a brighter light, which they are in comparison to the factory bulb. Additionally, the fact that I often drive with headlights on for safety, they were in use for a considerable part of the year. Consequently, I would recommend them since they were brighter, just understand that with these bulbs and similar bulbs from other manufacturers, you will most likely need to replace them again in a year if your vehicle runs with the headlights on or if you manually choose to use them more often (during daylight hours).

Answer:	The bulb needs to be the "H11 standard" bulb. Other similar bulbs may have a different connector shape. This particular bulb fits my 2010 Prius IV.

Answer:	No, 9011 produces around 2300 lumens, while the 9012 produces around 1800. 9011 bulbs are rated for a significantly shorter lifespan though, as they're primarily designed for high beam applications. Also consider the connector comparability. IIRC 9011 is only comparable with 9005 connectors and 9012 is only comparable with 9006.

Question:	Are they the exact same brightness as the original that come stock? I got a replacement but not by Philips and I don't think they were as bright
Answer:	On my 2009 Audi A4 I didn't notice any difference in brightness between the Philips and the original OEM bulb.

Answer:	That price is for each bulb. You can only use these bulbs if your car is already outfitted for HID headlights. You cannot plug them into a car that presently has halogen headlights.

Question:	Not sure if I have HID headlights currently. Assuming I don't will this work for my standard 2008 prius
Answer:	Prius come with both the Std headlights which run about $15.00, and HID which start at about $50.00 plus. I own three prius 2004 which as Std bulbs, and 2007 touring which as the HID, and another 2007 with NAV, that also has HID. The HID have a blue tint, where as the Std bulbs are whiter. The two types of bulbs are NOT inter changeable.

Answer:	HB5 is the plug in configuration on this bulb. 9007 is simply the model number of the bulb it is one in the same.

Answer:	These are halogen bulbs. Not sure what that string of numbers mean but these are not HID units. They are not, for that matter, very good bulbs either. Very disappointed in them. Not brighter than the oem bulbs in my 2016 Hyundai Tucson.

Answer:	i uses zxe before on my 2007 impalabut these are whiter just do not provided a wider beam of with than the zxe brand. the diamond vision seem to be have a look of blue but are super white at night. but lights on every car is different. I hope this helped

Answer:	Check your manual for bulb replacement.If it says your bulb is H11 then it will fit. My equinox is H11 and i have these bulbs they are whiter than stock bulbs.

Answer:	Yes they are different. Those bulbs are bright, but not white in color. The Philips Diamond Vision bulbs are a true 5000 Kelvin bulb.
Question:	Can someone compare these to Putco Nitro Blue bulbs
Answer:	I have an 08' Silverado and I put these Phillips diamond vision headlights in and I run the Putco Nitro Blue in my fog lights and they are a pretty much dead on match for light color. As far as comparing quality, I've burned out one headlight bulb after 1.5 years of use and one of the putco bulbs as well. Overall, I think you're gonna get about - year out of any of your bulbs anymore these days.
