Answer:	No dressings are silicon based. They are either water based or solvent based. Water is more for interior and solvent based for exterior. Both can have silicones in them. Being water or solvent doesn't tell you if it contained silicones. And also, silicones aren't necessarily bad. But that's a whole other topic. But dressings are either water based (tend to dry non greasy) and solvent based (tend to dry a bit greasy but hold up better in weather on exterior)

Answer:	I put my Rebel XTi with the 18-55 lens attached in the middle section of the bag and there is room for my 50mm lens on one side of the bag and my 55-250mm zoom lens fits on the other side. So for what I have it works great. I'm not familiar with the T5i so I'm not sure how big your camera is. Looking at the pictures of your camera, I think it will fit but you won't have a lot of extra room. My camera with the lens attached is about 6" long. When it's in the bag (lens facing down), there isn't a lot of extra space but I can get the bag zip shut. If your camera is longer that 6 1/2", you may have problems getting the bag closed. Hope this helps.
