Answer:	Normal vitamins are missing the key ingredient, Keratin. In fact, skip the vitamins and try Keratin alone. I'll bet you see the improvement I did. I bought plain Keratin when my nails were so thin and cracking all the way from one end to the other. I started the Keratin and it hit the spot. They came in strong. I haven't a single cracking nail and I don't even take one every day any more. I've tried biotin and the other ingredients, completely useless. Some hype goes into formulas like this. Not to say it won't work. I'm saying it works by virtue of having Keratin. You can get everything else in your favorite multivitamin. Take what you like. It's the Keratin. Keratin is made of protein. It's harder as we get older to process proteins, to break them down to amino acids and make use of them. So vitamins are not useless. They help you utilize the karatin but if you've got a multi already, no need for a formula. That being said, it won't kill you either. At $22 it's not bad. Keratin is still cheaper. But not greatly. I also take a hydrolyzed beef collagen product for degenerative disks in my back. Now THAT problem took a year, but my goodness, I was in so much pain. There was a lot to heal. Only if I work too hard now does my back hurt. My muscles hurt like crazy still. Wish I knew the trick there. By the way, one doctor had the brilliant idea to try injecting the facets instead of the spine proper like usual and I felt fantastic for the first time ever after these spinal shots. While it was obvious that my disks had degenerated, current X-rays (and other imaging) does not show the disk degeneration as being an issue. My back still hurt. I tried a rhizotomy. Made the pain different, not better. Plain hydrolyzed beef collagen for a year reversed the disks and eventually the facets too. It just took longer for the arthritic facets, partly because I laid too much, tired of hurting. I noticed that adding vitamin C and excercise sped that up immensely. And by now the rhizotomy has worn off. Very little back pain. Muscle pain just as before but anyway. My point is that a product like this, since it's only $22, Ok. But if you need to save money, I'll bet it's the hydrolyzed Keratin that you cannot get in other vitamins. Biotin and silica and all those other things are in your multivitamin. The things not in your multivitamin would be the amino acids hair and nails are made of. They are not made of biotin but of course you need them especially if you're not really consistent with multivitamins. I'm not but still the Keratin is the key. I've seen hair and nail formulas that don't even have Keratin. Unbelievable. Those won't work. It's not rocket science. It's not easy to break these things down as they might occur in diet, as we get older. Whereas, the other ingredients are in any GOOD multivitamin. I trust your own judgement there. My story is that Keratin fixed my nails. I ran out. I originally got it at the pharmacist. They stopped carrying it. My nails got bad again. Got Keratin on Amazon, again strong hair and nails. Keratin is key. Similarly, got hydrolyzed collagen and a slow miracle happened. So these are the real keys IMHO and experience, but I already have a multivitamin. I only take 1 instead of 3. Give me a break. Vitamins are expensive. (There are different types of collagen. An online search for types of collagen should clarify which will target your issue.) If you have hair or nail issues, make sure that it has plenty of Keratin. That's the key. The vitamins won't kill you. Normal vitamins are missing the key, Keratin.

Answer:	I had a breakout initially when I started taking this. I used Dr. Lin acne spot remover to take care of that. That dried out my skin, and got flaky, so I stared using Cardon Men's 2-in-1 face moisturizer (I've never used face moisturizer in my life), and that got better. I haven't had a breakout since then. Answer:	Been taking it for almost a year and have been using Rogain for over a decade. In conjunction with the Rogaine, I went through 2 bottles full of this supplement, taking two pills together with a multi-vitamin and food to promote absorption...nothing. Then I split up the dosage (morning and evening), doing the same routine....nothing. About me: I'm in my 40's and have had a receding hairline + bald spot in back since my early 30's, so I'm not sure how much that contributes. I've asked my barber to look and let me know his thoughts. He said he can see some very fine, very weak strands of hair in the bald spot, but that's it. Overall my hair had been thinning out on the top of my head since my mid 30's, slowly over time. I haven't noticed any real change at all. I'd be happy if this just keeps me where I'm at, but it'll take maybe 5 years of observation to determine. Answer:	I have been taking these for almost a month, while I did get a horrible breakout at the end of the first week. Which was really disappointing, but I continued on to give the vitamin a fair shot, after about a week of breakouts I haven't gotten any more new acne and the breakout is clearing nicely. I'm 28 yrs old and had previously taken accutane to clear my adult cystic acne. Answer:	You do need to use it about 3 months before you see results since it takes 3 months for hair folicles to activate. I found it helped me.
