Answer:	The bottle connects directly to the throat of the holding tank in the car (2009 X5). Very simple to use, very clean, and zero mess. I read a suggestion to save the bottle and basically use it as a funnel for the next refill. The urea is about a tenth the price buying it in regular one gallon containers.

Answer:	DO NOT use the cheap DEF found in a box at the big box stores and auto parts shops! It will cause your system to become contaminated. I just paid BMW to clean my tanks, nozzles and sensors and put their fluid in to get my car back on the road (2014 BMW 328d).
