Answer:	No. You don't need them. Plug it in and sit down. You will need to reinforce the straps as they are not anywhere near sturdy enough to handle the job. Other than that there is not much to this device... pretty much self explanatory.

Answer:	Just measured my cooling seat cover. Overall length is about 51 inches. The bottom and back region is almost 13-3/4 inches. The shoulder region is about 15-1/2 inches. The leg region is almost 17 inches. Thickness is 1 inch or slightly less.

Question:	Technical details says package is 6.6in tall. How tall is the cover itself
Answer:	Thats it, a normal license plate fits in it.. however not all license plate frames fit around it .It bowes out at the edges and its rises up about 3/4 inch at the center. Water drains back and the lens becomes cloudy after a few car washes. I found another use for duct tape trying to keep water from dripping between the face of the plate and the back of the lens...
Question:	Will this fit if I have a Chrome license plate frame in front of it
Answer:	Mine didn't fit my older metal chrome plated frame, my frame had two rims on it , the outer rime that you can see that the plate fits into but the inner rim touches the lens where the blots fit through...I found 2 complete set of frame and lens at Menard's for about the same as these lens covers....
Question:	Do they come with screws
Answer:	No screws but really nice shields. Go to Ace and get stainless steel license plate fasteners/screws and you will be all set.
Question:	What type of plastic is it
Answer:	It's shatterproof. I've had it on the front of the car for about a year and it still looks good. It's still clear and has not turned yellow or dark. Not sure what kind of plastic. Also, it has not leaked. It's strong. I hope this helps.
