Answer:	Yes, the 2 inch receiver is part of the cargo carrier and is built into it. It is a straight receiver (not angled up), so check your exhaust prior to using this carrier. You might need to add a turned exhaust tip to direct the heat away from your cargo. We are very pleased with this cargo carrier, it is well constructed and assembly was fast and easy.

Answer:	You can always buy an extender that bridges the gap between the mount/receiver on the vehicle and the basket. It will lock in place and allow for more room between the tire and the basket if needed. I have one and will use it with my bike rack. Also, I purchased a two pack of locks so that I can lock the basket and the extension to the receiver. Purchased all of them on Amazon. I have a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica and there is not much room between the back door and the basket when folded up; my receiver is up under the back end and does not stick out very far. I actually put some pipe insulation rolls on the basket to protect the body if it bounced; put them on with Yellow duct tape to give it more visibility.

Answer:	I threw the box away a couple of years ago after I received the carrier. The assembled outside dimensions are 59.5" x 21" x 6.5". The carrier came in two halves with the receiver tube assembly and connecting plates, bolts, nuts, etc as additional parts. If I recall, the box was about 32-36" x 24" x 9-10". The two basket halves were nested together with the other parts inside the halves. It was good quality packaging and well packed to keep the parts from rubbing.

Answer:	I have mine mounted to the back of a teardrop trailer, so I had a similar concern. I purchased this -- Connor Hitch Extender - High Clearance 2" Dual Hitch Extension (GTW- 4000 lb.) , 1625370 Trailer Hitch Extension. I did modify the cargo carrier so it rode closer to the vehicle by shortening the main tube where it inserted into the extender, and relocated the hole for the pin. I would also anti rattle pins, and clamps as it assures it rides quiet and completely level. Equipped like this it did a great job, on a Maine trip with lots of rough road, off road sections.
Question:	Does this fit a 1 1/4" or a 2" hitch receiver? Looked for info, but could not find
Answer:	The hole on the rack for the hitch pin is 1/2". This is designed to work with the No Wobble Bolt that is included with the rack. This bolt works to securely tighten the rack when installed on the vehicle and keeps the rack from moving during use.
Question:	Problems bottoming out given the square tube goes straight back rather than angle up like many others
Answer:	The brackets that the straps are attached to rotate around the rack arms, making it fairly easy once you figure out the best position. I actually had 3 women's bikes on the rack with no problems. The straps were on the diagonal bar and the vertical bar below the seat and it was very tight, no movement at all. No issues with women's bikes at all here.

Answer:	I’m not sure about yours specifically, but it’s fairly universal. We have used it behind our Tahoe, a mini van, and a pickup truck severa times. You need to have the correct receiver on your vehicle. With th basket down, I can fit between the basket and my Tahoe. If it’s loaded properly I can still open the hatch.
Question:	What is the distance between the end of the receiver and the basket
Answer:	Unless flames shoot out of your exhaust, you will be fine. If flames do shoot out of your exhaust, first, AWESOME, and second, you should probably have that looked at.

Answer:	If you have a spare tire on the back of your vehicle it may not be long enough to go into the hitch reciever. In my case, a Jeep wrangler 2015 spare tire blocked the ability for the carrier to reach the hitch reciever. It reached but could not be inserted enough to put the pin in.

Answer:	I purchased to truck mud flaps and cut them to fit the bottom, then I strapped a locking plastic box to the carrier. I drove from Alaska to Ohio and back without a problem..... the box still got some dirt on it, but then so did everything!

Answer:	You are so right. I too was confused because I am getting a long trunk made to fit the carrier. I got the Arksen so that a long trunk/custom made box could fit snugly. The previous carrier had no frame and was a bad product. My tradesman was trying to fathom the inner measurements before the carrier arrived. Now we have the exact measurements for a snug fit. The Arksen carrier is the most secure tray, especially when you are driving at 110km per hour. The frame around the tray is very sturdy and very useful to strap on things. Answer:	Sorry I cannot tell you the actual weight. However, it is much lighter than the steel one I have. The steel one took two people to move around. This aluminum one I carry by myself.
