Answer:	Of course it does-how else could it "polish" a painted surface? What's important is the degree of abrasiveness and No. 7 is on the low side. I used it on my 50 yr. old Jaguar's (enamel) original paint pursuant to an expert's tip to apply it and allow it to seep in to "condition" the finish. I'm very pleased with the results and yes, a quality top coat application is necessary to seal the shine.

Answer:	No, although in theory not harmful to headlights this will not do much to restore a headlight. If you are looking to restore headlights you really should consider PlastX or one of our Headlight Restoration Kits.

Answer:	M7 is a show car GLAZE. It has absolutely no protective properties. It's primary purpose was to create an out of this world shine for show cars which you would top with your high end wax or sealant. M21 is a synthetic polymer SEALANT. Answer:	i am a car nut as opposed to just a regular nut. on a 96 impala ss i used a machine and it was scary as to creating swirls and so on. meguiars is the finast wax and product line i have ever used and in over 50 years of detailing great cars i wish i would of found this out long ago. by hand you simply do a better job and a safer job. it takes longer but the finished product is worth it.
Question:	Does this come with a applicator pad and Microfiber towel
Answer:	The 3 step paint treatment from Meguiars recommends using the 3 products: Compound for removing swirl marks, contamination, scratches and rust. Polish for dark colored cars to enrich the color. Wax to protect the paint. If your paint is in mint condition, you probably don't need Compounding and you can go directly to Waxing. By the way, this is the best Wax ever !!
Question:	How long should I leave the wax on
Answer:	You absolutely CAN use it on a new car. I did, applying it the second week after I bought my metallic black car. I did it in my garage where there was no sunlight, but a shady spot on the driveway would also be good. I applied it by hand in small sections, following the directions carefully about not letting it get too dry. I used several clean microfiber cloths to remove it, and finished with a very light buffing with my polisher, though I think this last step wasn't necessary. It does NOT hurt the clearcoat. Info on the package confirms this. I think the Meguiar web site says the same thing. Take a look at Meguiar dot com for more details, but I highly recommend this product, and Amazon's price is far better than what you'll find in auto parts stores, or big box stores. I was very pleased with the outcome.

Question:	How does this compare to the quick detailer spray
Answer:	It's actually a different product that serves a different purpose. Quick detailer is for when your car is "dusty" or just needs a little refreshening while the spray cleaner will clean a dirty car, unless it's caked in mud. Not only does it clean quite well, but it has a little wax in it that will leave your car shining. I have a black Murano, and I love how it looks after using this stuff. I still use the quick detailer, too, about every other day when it doesn't rain. Both are great products.
Question:	Can it be used for windows
Answer:	You can. I would avoid using it inside the glass, if you use a suction mount for things like a navigation unit, though, as it tends to make the surface too slick for the suction cup to adhere properly.
Question:	Can this be left in the trunk of the car during summer months, i live in tenn. So 90s . I need a spot cleaning spray just using water now
Answer:	It contains water so the more it’s heated then water is gonna evaporate. Over time you will have less moisture in the spray. So I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s not supposed to get less moist. It’s not supposed to be used as a solid or a paste. It contains water so it can absorb dirt.
Question:	Anyone tried using this on a wet car? Does it streak
Answer:	I use this particularly after it rains, in which the rain serves as a "pre-wash" to rinse away any loose dust and dirt (I also use it when the car is dry, and only requires a light dusting to get rid of the loose dust and dirt). But I do use a leaf blower (mine is a cordless electric: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AXTO41E ) to blast away any excess water, especially those in the cars seams and crevices. It doesn't streak, but depending on how much water is left on the car, you may need to take several extra passes with the mitt/cloth/towel to get everything wiped away (which means you'll need more of them since you don't want to use them once they get soiled). But whether the car is wet or dry, you'll always want to wipe it completely off, because that's how this stuff works.I also use this when the car is still covered in morning dew. Just do the same: make sure to completely wipe everything dry after you spray it on--that's how it works. The water will only mean you have to do more wiping.PS: If you watch the second (longer) video (which is provided by Meguiar's, the same video as this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b51DHV0-hDY ), they explain that if there's excess mud or extremely excessive amounts of dirt, then it should be sprayed off with water before using this stuff. Answer:	Heat soy wax to 180°F, add dye flakes. Let cool to 150°F and add scent oil. Stir constantly for a minute or two once wax cools to 120°. Then pour. The wax has to be 180° to melt the dye wax/flakes. No hotter than 150° but no cooler than 145° for scent molecules to bond. Let cool before pouring to 120° or else you get tunnel holes that you'll have to go back and fill.

Use mild detergent that will work fine and Do Not use fabric softener !!!!, they sell specific detergents for the pads and microfiber towels, could cost a bit, but you can use Woolite gentle enough to wash them, otherwise use any other mild detergent
