Question:	Can these have lead in them? ...i wouln't have asked but there are some other snaps that say lead tested so now im concerned
Answer:	you can adjust the strength of the stapling with the pressure for your compressor. I run it at 120psi or so and its a strong stapling. but I can imagine you can run it down at 100 or less and it will be less powerful so it won't damage the plastic.

Answer:	open gun. pull spring back. place staples with sharp points in correct direction (sharp ends go toward flat side of gun). let spring push against staples. be sure you have the correct staples as the should lay in gun perfectly. door should close now

Answer:	I do not know the thread count. It is made in China. It is a very nice fabric. I use mine for patchwork mini-quilts & collars for doll clothes. I always pre-wash so there will be no shrinkage of completed project!! There was very little shrinkage of this fabric. I am happy with it. Hope this helps.

How to Install plastic snaps with the press pliers



1. For each snap, you wil need two caps, one socket and one stud.

2. Make sure your pliers match the size of the snaps you plan to fasten.

3. Choose your spot to install the snap and stick your awl into your fabric to create a small hole.

4. Insert one cap and one socket into the pliers and line up with the hole you made with your awl. Repeat this step with one cap and one stud where you plan to install the other side of your snap.

5. Squeeze together a cap+socket AND THEN a cap+stud.

6. Once you have each side of your snap installed, the socket and stud will click together! If either side feels loose, simply set the one side of the snap in the pliers again and squeeze.

I would assume that for this to be successful that the air supply (pressure and scfm) are very important otherwise the later staples will not be completely driven into the item.
