Answer:	I don't know why someone said it will NOT cut a 12x12 sheet of paper...it WILL. I put a 12x12 sheet on the cutter, and it DID cut it in half, no problem. 12" is the MAX it will cut. Some 12x12 scrapbook papers will have the little extra tear off part on it, making it a little larger than 12x12...maybe that is what they used. I bought this cutter because I make cards and other paper crafts. Basically the 12" cutter is 10 inches wide and 12 inches long. If you want a 12x12 sheet of paper to fully lay on the cutter, then buy a larger size.
Question:	Will it cut through card stock that has thick laminate
Answer:	Yes, it is precise, however the user's technique can have a significant effect for better or for worse. I bought this to replace an aging paper cutter in my office that had lost its edge. Everyone was impressed at how good this one was. As with any paper cutter it is important to not cut too many pages at one time. I would buy this one again, it is the best paper cutter I have ever used outside of a graphic arts studio.

Answer:	Yes, it will. I tried it out on an 18 inch piece. Just be sure and hold down towards the end of the sheet, sometimes it will pull the paper. But not nearly as much as other trimmers like this. Just the more you get towards the 18 mark, takes more care.
Question:	Minimum cut size? I heard that this cutter would not measure all the way down to 1/8", which I need to be able to do my paper quilling. Is that true

Answer:	The "heaviness" of the cutter would indicate to me that it would. The size of the blades might limit it to 1/8" or less. Leather might dull the blades rather quickly. I only use it to cut paper and it is more than adequate for that purpose.

Answer:	I am not sure it will cut Tyvek. We use it to cut 3ml. laminated menus for restaurants. I think it would, but can't be sure without trying it.

Answer:	The clamp comes down at 1 1/2". The smallest cut you would be able to make would be just over the 1 1/2" mark, as you would need to have a little paper left to work with in order to position it under the clamp.

Question:	Will this cut 0.003" aluminium foil which is 14.5" width
Answer:	The 569 has a 27.5" cut length and the width of the base is 21.63" so the cut will be fine in either direction. The only problem we could see is with the foil and the automatic the clamp. Question:	The photo of the scissors indicates they are 8" length, 3.25 " width but the title says they are 11.25" length, 4.75 " width? Which is correct

Answer:	We would not consider the surface non-slip. There is no texture/grip for this to be considered non-slip.

Answer:	We have cut the Vantage Self-Healing Cutting Mats to send samples but we have used a Stack Cutter to do so. You would need something very sharp to get through the layers.
Question:	Does this bend? I'm looking for something flat/sturdy to do watercolor on
Answer:	I consider mine excellent for watercolor but if you want it to perform like a stiff board it won't. There is a slight flex to the material but not so it would ever bend end to end. Tape sticks to it but removes easily. It's not what consider thin either which gives it a durable solid feel. Being transparent makes it perfect for artwork, expressly with measurements all over it.
Question:	Will a 3d pen hurt it or would it be ok
Answer:	I don't know, I had to send it back because it came broken. It is a hard surface if the pen does not get too hot it should be okay but I don't know for sure, sorry.
