I just got another 13-D pair and even after a month of break-in they still hurt like h@@@ and caused blisters. Returning them and ordering 13-2E feels like the 13-D i had 2 years ago. Snug but not too snug. If you sometimes get a wide boot, definitely get these in a wide. |

I trek alone through bear country. Beeswax smells like honey. |

| Answer: | I did not use it just that much in a wather. I did notice that my feet sweat a bit if i am over 4 hours in them. Also, i do not know how deep is the river, but you want to know that connection between mid area and side is about 1cm lower than last buckle for shoe lase, so water might get in, if you are thinking that you are protected in whole hight of a shoe. In general, I am IN LOVE with these, and for what i use then, they are perfect! Great product! |

| Answer: | I’d say pretty close in size but a bit snug when I first put them on each time. Once I get going they are great. Just did a 14,000 Mountain in Colorado with them and they were great. Being snug at first probably helps. No blisters and feet were never hot or wet. |
