Answer:	The best way is to fix the fruit or vegetable on the cutting board. If you work with a product that has round or oval shape you should cut a slice off the product and place the product flat. Then slice it, pull the blade from the top to the bottom, do it carefully, then you will get a small part left which you can slice with a knife. Also you can use a fork to fix the fruit or veggie at one side, and then start working, pull the peeler and turn the vegetable to get more of it.

Question:	Can you tell me, is the knife Asian style or Western style
Answer:	This is a great question and was pointed out in one of our customer reviews.The blade material is made from Japanese VG10 Super Steel and is honed to 12-15 degrees per side which is typical for Asian knives so from the perspective of blade material and sharpness, definitely Asian style.However, the knife also comes with heft, strength and balance which is traditionally recognised as that of a Western style knife.This is what makes the Zelite Infinity a unique choice - it combines the best from both styles to create a knife that is very sharp, has great edge retention yet carries the heft and feel of a Western style knife.Hope our answer was helpful.

Answer:	I do not know. The first set I had is still usable and it has never bent or rusted. I have had the second set for only a couple of weeks. This new set is made in Japan and I don't know if that makes it better or worse. I do not know where the first set was made. I've had it for at least 15 years.

Question:	What are the specs as for the fineness of the mesh for the 5 or 7 inch strainers? I need 1mm or less if I can find it
Answer:	A very unscientific answer: I used a ruler to measure and the holes look to be somewhere between one and a half & two mm. They are definitely larger than the strainer I replaced.
Question:	Good for kefir or not?? I've seen mixed reviews. Any better suggestions
Answer:	This strainer works well for kefir, but you have to stir the kefir with a wooden spoon to get it through the mesh in order to separate the grains from the cultured milk, and then put those grains in a clean container for your new batch of kefir. Also, using the sink sprayer to clean the kefir remnants out of the mesh is the most effective way to clean it...do NOT put it in the dishwasher as the heat will ruin the nylon mesh. Best wishes.
Question:	Is this fine enough to strain melted raw shea butter, and be effective (those pieces are very tiny, smaller than cofee grinds
Answer:	I did four test to see if I could answer your question adequately. First, I put ground coffe in the strainer and only the finest grains came through. Second, I pulled apart a tea bag and put the tea leaves in th strainer. After shaking it fo 30 seconds, about 3/4's of the leaves came through. Third, I took table salt and did the same process and about 90% came through. And fourth, I used regular sugar and 80% came through.Not knowing exactly what raw Shea butter actually is, but as a science teacher, I woul think that the mesh would be fine enough to strain the Shea butter. You could also add two fine layers of cheese cloth inside the strainer to help the catching of the raw Shea butter and let it drip until it stops and lift the cheese cloth and then turn it over into a bowl to retrieve your product. Answer:	I believe it is dishwasher safe -- top rack. That said, I encourage you to look for a better strainer. The mesh is flimsy and does not hold its shape. After just a few uses it separated from the plastic frame.

Question:	stainless steel
Answer:	The packaging only states "stainless steel" & they feel like the other stainless steel cookie/cracker cutters I use. The directions state "... immediately dry using a dish towel ..." which I have to admit that I didn't notice until researching your question. All is well with these cute little critters after hand washing and air drying. I would guess that they are food safe (304 stainless steel) since I have had no adverse effects from them.
Question:	what size cookies do you get with these cutters? Some complained its too small. Are the cookies about an inch or smaller
Answer:	The cutters are 1 inch or 1 1/4 inch in size. I bought these to make gluten free goldfish for my Grandson and they are just fine for that.

Question:	Do you press the stamps in the ink pad before applying them onthe stamp press or do you need a large ink pad
Answer:	put the stamp on the stamp press-- then ink it from ink pad--wouldn't be able to get stamp on press if it was already inked? there is a good video on youtube on how to use the press.
Question:	do these work with Tim Holtz stamps
Answer:	I don't have any Tim Holtz stamps but I can tell you it works like a dream on unmounted acrylic stamps. I will NEVER be without one of these presses.
Question:	Where can you get new feet? one of mine fell off and i don't know where i lost it. thanks
Answer:	When I first came upon this product, my research discovered that this was a common problem. Don't know where you can find replacement feet. Maybe you could make one out of some extra foam piece you might have lying about.
Question:	Is this like a misti
Answer:	No. It has grids but nothing like a misty. A misty will let you stamp and restamp in the same position because you have a swing door that you mount the stamps on and magnet to hold down the paper. This is simply like an acrylic block but for bigger cling stamps.
