Question:	Does this set contain 2 of each length of cable, for a total of six cables? It looks that way in the picture, but doesn't say that in the description
Answer:	it contains 2 sets, one of "small" cable, 14", 22" and 30" cable, that fits the small needles (size 2 to 8 US) and another set of "large" cables, same lenght above, for the needles 9 to 15. You get 6 cables, but only one set can fit the small needles and one set the larger ones. I usually use more of my US 5 and US6, so I purchased an extra "small, 24" cable with my order for $5. Answer:	Yes they do!! So easy to do a lifeline,even every couple of rows if u need it. I'm working a Thierry scarf for my son right now. I hate to rip back so I'm doing it every repeat. I will never go without a lifeline again. The needles r fantastic. I just finished the Churchmouse welted fingerless gloves yesterday. Did magic loop. Made sure needles were tightened well and never had a problem with them loosening even when I was working on the thumb gusset. Answer:	A lifeline is a length of thread or smaller yarn, put through a hole in the needle........you then knit the row. At the end of the row, pull the lifeline out of the hole in the needle. It has now become a base that will prevent dropped stitches should you need to rip back to correct an error. Usually used every 10 rows in difficult patterns.

Answer:	The only difference in the two types of interchangeable they have are the length if the actual neddle you hold in your hand one is 4" the other 5". On most airlines you can safely take your knitting project on the 4" neddle tip. Lace tips have a more pointed tip to make lace knitting easier but I always use a lace needle for all my knitting

Answer:	No, I just received my set and it comes with two (2) sets (one small size, one large size) of the following: two 8" cables, one 14" cable, and one 22" cable.

Answer:	I've found it to be a very smooth join every time. And with the key to make sure it's tight........it does not loosen at all until you take it apart.

Question:	How to use the extensions
Answer:	You screw your needle-point ends onto the flexible "cord" and there are several options for the cord length. There is a little pin in the kit that you put through a little hole at the base of the needle and it helps to tighten the needle onto the wire cord. Question:	I get this set from a friend but I cannot attached the bigger size of knitting needles, the have a different size scrue on the wire
Answer:	I sure wish I could help you. These work easily for me, no matter what size the needle. If you need to extend the wire to make it bigger you would use one of the enclosed adapters to attach two wires, but I haven't had a needle that didn't fit on the wire.

Answer:	China they work fine but I will never buy again because of where they're made I always try to buy American if I can and being the knitter that's hard to do because a lot of stuff is made in China and Japan but I missed it this time I didn't notice till it came

Answer:	I didn't have problems with the plastic tubing slipping off the needles, but the grippiness did make it difficult to knit in the round with it.

Answer:	Hello, the bamboo is very smooth, won't catch on the yarn.

Answer:	On straight needles the metric size is pressed on the needle shaft about 2 inches from the head. The circular needles are marked mid shaft on just one of the two needle ends. Size marking are pretty visible on larger needles; but pretty hard to see on smaller sizes (4mm and smaller). All circular needles are 24 inches long.

Answer:	Not a fabric or reusable bag, no. They arrive in a disposable plastic film bag, with each set of 5 dpns wrapped in an individual disposable plastic film sleeve. (I got the pack of 75 dpns.)

Answer:	10 1/2 inches from point to end. Approximately 10 inches of workable space. I've been very pleased with this purchase so far and have made half a dozen projects with both sets. The tips are a bit weak on the smaller needles but buff out smooth with a soft nail file if you happen to break one off with a tight stitch like I did. Hope this helps.

Question:	What’s the difference between basic interchangeable and turbo basic interchangeable
Answer:	I cant say for sure as, I'm not familiar with different types of metal, but I'd say your common maybe nickel or aluminum, idk but its smooth and has a decent thickness to it, its not a flimsy set. its like hard metal tips. and the wood it smooth and solid feeling as well, I used to buy the metal ones from joann fabric but these are nice and less for an entire set so for that it was a nice deal.
Question:	Is there a lot of drag? I bought the "gold" version of basic and the drag is unbearable
Answer:	The 24" cable is the shortest cable available for the Interchangeable Needles. The tips are about 4.5" each, which takes up 9" of the cable. The tips would not be able to touch if we made a smaller cable. We did slightly shorten the needle tips and made a Fixed 16" in sizes 0-11 to compensate since we couldn't have a 16" cable for the Interchangeables.

Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. The cables that come in the set will only fit our needle tips. You can try to use them with another needle set but we can't guarantee that they will fit. Answer:	To make 16" needles you need to order the Ginger 'SPECIAL' Set item no. 150302. The Special set includes shorter tips designed to produce circulars in 16" length. Each Special Tip measures 4" and are to be used with cord of 8" lenght.
Question:	what is the length of needles? 4" or larger
Answer:	4" but amazon carries both longer and shorter needle sets.

• WHY choose our knitting kit - the join of the needle & cables are smooth and sturdy. Not break easily or snag yarns like other products. US size marked. Others only have mm marked and you have to measure.

Very natural feeling once you get used to the steel tubing. Works great for so many knit sizes.
• There is a steel odor to the tube. After hanging the needles and allowing them to air out, they are just as good as the high dollar versions in craft shops.

Question:	Has anyone tried magic loop knitting with these
Answer:	These needles are great for magic loop knitting. They feel different from the metal needles I use for magic loop in that they are slower to knit on because of the texture of the wood and the thicker plastic cords. However, sometimes, for some yarns and stitches, this can be an advantage. if you're using very slippery or fuzzy yarn, knitting slower is preferable. At any rate, these are a pleasure to use and very attractive to knit with. Plus -- you absolutely cannot beat this price. I like having multiple needles around for various projects and these are definitely a good addition to the collection.
Question:	How long did your needles need to air out before getting rid of the smell
Answer:	I don't remember a smell because I returned mine immediately. The needle separated from the cord first use.
