Answer:	I have tried it on plastic and I feel it has a higher chance of peeling over time. As a matter of fact I used to create doll eyes by dotting black fabric paint onto plastic and peeling it off easily to glue it onto seen dolls I used to make .

Answer:	I washed and line dried it - it softens a little bit after washing but retains enough of it stiffness. Putting it through the dryer might soften it even more.

Answer:	It's thick canvas cloth and does repel liquids and keeps paint off the floor, but I don't know if it is treated with anything. I think it was a great price for a very good product--it works perfectly for my purposes, which keeping a marble floor free of oil paint while I'm painting at an easel.

Answer:	I used these to slip cover my couch and love seat. Turned out great. Sadly, I got some bad advice about not needing to prewash the canvas if I only washed the slipcovers in cold water and didn’t use the dryer. WRONG. I ordered another brand to redo slipcovers and am now on hold till I get more Chicago Canvas. Far superior. I will say that a good tip if slipcovering and not upholstering is to put slipcovers back on the furniture wet and let it dry in place. More body/stiffness if you want it. We do get occasional pills on the fabric, so I bought a ten dollar pill shaver which fixes that! Cant figure out how to attach a photo,sorry.

Answer:	You certainly can, but this is a fairly lightweight fabric compared to others I've used. Had to use more gesso, spritz it with warm water a few times, and really work to get a tight stretch. It'll do the trick, but if you want less "give" in your surface, stretching it will be tougher. I suggest 10 oz or heavier for painting, especially for larger frames, but this will work.

Answer:	I used a “green” product that I happened to have by ECORAIDER called Bed Bug killer. It’s a lovely cedar wood oil spray. It smells wonderful and has been so useful in dealing with a mold issue that sprang up in my garage. Don’t let the bed bug thing throw you. It could so easily be called another name. I am chemical sensitive and this does not have chemicals in it. I really like using it. I got it on Amazon. I have been using it very liberally. I went from a quart size to a gallon just to have it on hand. I’ve sprayed it on all my storage stuff. It seems to eradicate mold and mildew.
