Answer:	Both light colored and white shirts will work.
Question:	The instructions say to "add water to dye bottle, filling to line." But my 16 oz bottles have no fill line. How much water am I supposed to put in
Answer:	I used both a wet and a dry application of the dye. I love the bright colors of the dry method, but also love the way just dampening the fabric slightly allow the colors to blend a bit more. The color stays bright, but I always wash separately, in hot water the first few times I wash a new project.

Answer:	The premeasured dyes are already in the bottle for you. Just add Water! This is fantastic kit! I have used them for many occasions. dye sets great.. does not fade or bleed on my laundry. I have used it on all natural fabrics. Cotton, (even some blended cotton fabs, like leggins!) Silk and bamboo! The dye works awesome! and it is terrific fun! I give it 5 stars!

Answer:	Yes it will dye the print as well not as intense as the blank fabric but it will have some effect. Just go for it you will have a unique piece

Answer:	Red, yellow and blue. You get a bottle for each of those colors plus a four to mix either orange, green or purple. May I suggest to you that you make orange because the lighter colors are the hardest to create and keep while dying. Seems like yellow is always the color you run out of first.

Answer:	Just to be safe, I always wash alone for the first few washes. After that, I haven't had any problems with color bleed.

Answer:	color results are about same using coloring directions; i've found at least 2-3 additional dye packs to most formulas give deeper blacks.
Question:	are they one time use bottles of color? or can i activate a color, and store it for a future use
Answer:	Hi Maureen, in general all cotton dyes well. White fabric to Black dye produces a good outcome. I add distilled White vinegar and Epsom salts in HOT water with the dye. Let the garment soak 2 or 3 times longer than the directions call for. Use more dye to insure a deep Black color. I hope that helps!

Question:	How long does dye last once mixed? Or can you make small batches of dye
Answer:	I don't think so. If it were me I would buy bigger containers of just the bright fun colors. This kit did 4 t-shirts and 6 napkin size pieces of cloth.
Question:	How many ounces are in each bottle
Answer:	I know that once you mix it, you can keep it but the color will not be as vibrant when you use it on another item. I have a few bottles left over too, so I make sure I use extra color when I'm tye-dying.
Question:	Must shirt be wet before applying dye
Answer:	Yes and no. Just depends on how you die. If you do one or two colors per shirt you'd have plenty! But just a tip. If you're trying to save die. Have a container under your shirt when you're applying the die so it catches the spilled die and you can put it back in the container if this is just you doing the project. But if this is a family or group craft I would buy two just to be safe. I hope this helps! :)

Answer:	Yes. I made an a teal using the green and blue, but I made the liquid first then mixed the colors.

Answer:	Just an estimate but they say it will dye 10 med shirts which are dbl thickness so maybe 20 per box x 2 boxes = approx 40 bandanas. If children do dying, have hel to keep them from going overboard with dye. Hope this helps

Answer:	It dries pretty fast, maybe within 5-10 minutes, if you don't spray too heavily. Then you can iron it to set the color. Love this product!
Question:	Do we still need to do the ash soak with this kit, or is it instantly dyed
Answer:	This product is pre-mixed and ready to use. Traditional tie dye methods require you to mix with hot water and salt. With this spray process you can still get a traditional tie dye look.
Question:	How many t shirts will this kit do? Adult sizes
Answer:	You can use it on wool, However, you will need to heat set it with a household iron, blow dryer, or in the clothes dryer to lock the color in. If your dyeing a wool sweater this make not work very well as the clothes dryer may cause the sweater to shrink.

Question:	if i mix more water with the red dye.. will it go pink or just a less vibrant red
Answer:	I baked the wine glasses we painted. I didn't preheat, put the wine glasses in first, then set the oven for 350. I set timerfor 10 minutes. I turned off the oven and left the door open a crack. Went to bed and the next morning I took out the glasses.
Question:	how many shirts can you dye with one package
Answer:	They work great with canvas and don't bleed unless you push the nib and hold. They also can work on leather and fabric with a smooth texture. It is difficult to draw with markers on cotton though. We recommend hand wash cold for fabric, but can't guarantee they won't fade after a while.

Answer:	Absolutely. Artistro paint markers are great for rock painting as well as for glass painting, ceramic, porcelain, wood and more. Artistro paint marker pens work on any surfaces. If you are going to use the paint pens particularly for rocks, you might want to seal them. Mod podge or spray sealer work great with the marker pens. If you don't seal your rocks , it's fine. The paints will stay without sealing as well. I keep my painted rocks outdoor under rain and snow and they look great. Paints are sun and water resistant and they don't fade . I hope it helps. Question:	Is this product vegan
Answer:	After the designs are properly cured, it should be fine. I have designed my mugs a year ago and sometimes I use microwave. The designs are still good. I hope it helps. Here are some tips for baking the project on glass, ceramic or porcelain: - Make sure that the surface is thoroughly cleaned, use rubbing alcohol. Don’t forget to remove all price stickers, otherwise it will burn when you bake; - Once you are happy with your design let it air dry for 24 hours before baking. This will ensure proper adhesion of the design on the surface; - After fully dry, place your project into a cold oven; - Turn oven to 350˚F; - Set a timer for 1 hour; - Once the hour is up, turn off the oven; - Open the oven; - Let the project cool down completely. It is better to wait a day. Hand-washing in warm water is the best option to wash the surface. We do not recommend using dishwasher or heavy-duty sponge. Remember, there is always a chance to scratch the paint, be extra careful with the project!

Answer:	It does
Question:	Will this kit work to dye polyester
Answer:	Yes it does, not for a long time though - it needs to be exposed to bright light for about 15 minutes to hold about an hour glow. If it sits under blacklight for 15 minutes, it glows WAY brighter.
Question:	Do they come out bright colors on denim
Answer:	Not sure if you can put them on the body, but not on the hair. Consistency is more like a glue or gel.

Question:	Would these colors hold to acrylic yarn
Answer:	Cover dyed fabric with plastic wrap to keep damp. Let set 6-8 hours or longer for most intense colors. Rinse well with water until excess dye is removed. Cut rubber bands if used. Fill washer to "large load" setting with hottest water suitable for fabric and a small amount of laundry soap. Wash and dry separately. Wash separately for the first few washes.

Answer:	Never have but give it a try on something you not to worried about if it's a fail
Question:	how does the process of spray differ from traditional tie dye
Answer:	I did 6 kid shirts, 1 kid sweatshirt, 2 adult shirts, and an adult sweatshirt. So my guess would be at least 12 since the sweatshirts and adult shirts take more dye but could manage more depending on how much white you want on the shirts. Ours were all completely saturated

Question:	After painting it on the fabric, do you have to do anything to set it, like heat with an iron or blowdryer? What are the washing instructions
Answer:	So far there’s only been one wash and yes the paint is still vibrant..

HOW TO TIE DYE

Step 1- Spread a reusable table covers on the table, put damp clothes on the table, this helps the dye to saturate better.

Step 2- Twist the center until the fabric totally becomes spiral shape and use rubber bands to divide the fabric into several parts.

Step 3- Fill up the bottle with tap water, dyeing with dyes of different colors and ensure that it penetrates completely behind the clothes.

Step 4- Put it into plastic wrap or film and set for 8 hours (It's okay without plastic wrap).

Step 5- Rinse off the floating color with water and let it dry. the work is complete.

Always work with damp fabric. we recommend pre-washing your fabric and dyeing while it's still damp. This helps the dye to saturate better, which means you don't have to use as much to get the colour effect you want. If you are doing a tie dye project with young children, supervise them well and let them know that a little dye goes a long way. From our experience as perents, kids can be a little heavy-handed with the dye. We highly recommend using natural fabrics, like cotton, wool, and rayon since they display the colours better. Other fabrics may not allow the tie dye to stick well or at all.
