Let Polly and the kids share the paper after!

An American moving company stacked the three substances against each other: newspaper, bubble wrap and packing paper. Newspaper lost dismally; it's too fragile to save delicate items, and the ink stains china and porcelain. Bubble wrap did well but is not recyclable and is very expensive. Packing paper worked perfectly and allowed items to be stacked on each other.

  • The plain surface is easy to label for an organized move
  • It's reusable! Line your parrot's cage or let the kids paint on after the move
  • It won't easily tear, so use less. Less mistakes = faster packing
  • Packing paper breaks down easily during recycling

Keep Your China White and Bright

The last thing you want is your precious bone china to arrive with nasty ink stains because you used old newspaper to pack! This paper will protect your precious items as carefully as if you hand-carried each cup and saucer yourself. The white acid-free and ink-free paper is also easy to label, so you can unwrap your things quickly and efficient.

You Need Strength for the Fragile

Those porcelain teacups need to be packed individually. Dime-store packing paper or newspaper won't make the cut; you'll need more than one sheet to be effective. This paper is incredibly strong so you need less of it to protect your valuables. At 27" x 17", it's just the right size to accommodate your needs. With 5 lb, 10 lb and 20lb packs to suit your every need.

Use it for crafts or lay it down for the kids to draw on. Line the pet's cage or or reptile's aquarium with the leftovers!

User questions & answers

Question: Why does this say 20 lb when product description says "Package Dimensions : 18.07 x 12.17 x 5.51 inches; 19.25 Pounds
Answer: Hi, while I’m not certain what you are really asking, this is not tissue paper but it is news print. Yes it will tear but like a newspaper, remember those? It is the kind of paper used by professional packers employed by movers. Said another way, if you are wrapping things like dishes or drinking glasses to protect them from breakage, this is the right product. If you are trying to protect small and delicate things like expensive porcelain figurines this would not be the right stuff and you should consider instead tissue paper or bubble wrap with very small bubbles. I hope this helps. It is what we are doing as we prepare to move later in the year.
Question: do they tear easily
Answer: Good question. I bought the 20 lb box and though I did not count the sheets, the interior packaging says 480 sheets instead of 640.
Question: How many sheets? The description says 620 but i am seeing 480 in the comments. Which one is correct please...thank you in advance
Answer: Thanks for the catch! We just slightly changed the sheet sizes from 31.0" x 21.5" to 27" be 17" in order to make a better tri-fold without the hard creases of a cross-fold as customers requested. This change yielded more sheets for the same amount of total weight, also which customers requested, so now our 20# package has 640 sheets as opposed to the 480 previously.
Question: i just posted asking the amount of sheets. which one is correct? the 480 sheets or 640 sheets...i saw 480 in the comments... does it have 480 or

Question: Can use as liner for dog cage
Answer: Yes, there are 2 reams of 480 packed into one package.
Question: x 30 WHITE TISSUE PAPER-2 Reams, 960 Sheets
Answer: No it does not have a glossy side.
Question: Does this tissue have a glossy side
Answer: Nope, This tissue paper is not acid free. But, Amazon does carry it. Just search for "acid free tissue paper" in All Departments.
Question: Is this tissue paper acid free? I'm looking for something to pack a wedding dress
Answer: "Dispenser" is a somewhat loose term. the cardboard core is longer than the roll of Industrial Grade Stretch Film. So technically yes each roll has a dispenser but it's not something that will rotate as you wrap your products unless you keep a loose grip ion the cardboard and let it roll in your hands. Other than that the wrap itself is very nice and these smaller rolls are quite easy to handle.

User questions & answers

Question: Are these sheets water proof for bird runny poop
Answer: I used this to wrap both unsealed & sealed painted and printed canvas art & photos to store for what was supposed to be 1-2 months in a regular storage unit (not climate controlled), but ended up stretching out to just over a yr thanks to a complicated escrow process. At any rate, everything that was wrapped in this paper was still in perfect condition AND it even protected a few pieces from what we can only guess was rodent urine! 😖 Only the outer layer of paper was saturated. I wrapped each piece individually and secured with tape like wrapping a present. Then I bundled them in groups of 5 and wrapped all 5 with another layer of paper and secured the seams with tape, and that's how they were moved and were stored upright on a metal shelf in storage. I also use this paper a LOT as a drop sheet for art/craft projects, and it works great, even for messy paint! For really runny/wet projects like watercolor, I use 2 sheets, but 1 is fine for most uses. I've ordered these several times now and will continue to do so.
Question: Can it be used for art prints separation in storage
Answer: Hello! This paper is not glossy or waxed. It is newsprint.
Question: Is this paper glossy or waxed
Answer: Yes. It works very well, and makes keeping their cages clean without a lot of work. It’s a lot better than newspapers because there is no printing on it, etc.
Question: Can you use it for bird cages
Answer: I believe it it #14 weight paper... I am using it as birdcage liner. It is very absorbant, and a decent substitute for the actual liners that I was using that are no longer carried by the pet store.

User questions & answers

Question: Would this paper be suitable for storing oil paintings horizontally
Answer: I am not enough of an expert to give much guidance on this. It doesn’t mention being lignin free. It mentions 100% recycled neutral ph. Checking on Gaylord archival’s site, it looks like they use non recycled unbuffered materials. I plan to call them to clarify which qualities are important for archival tissue.
Question: Are these lignin free
Answer: I'm using Acid Free Tissue Paper to store my completely stitchery piece.....so I believe its suitable.
Question: Is this suitable for textiles? Will the color run
Answer: I sure wouldn't, its a little heavier weight than the tissue paper you buy for birthdays and Christmas but its not a heavy weight type of paper. I guess you could if used quite a bit but I still don't think it will work very well. Best of luck
