Question:	Will this cut vinyl decals
Answer:	I would recommend against it. The laser uses concentrated light and as such generates a lot of heat. The vinyl material may (probably) release toxic gasses and the heat will likely distort the material. For cutting decals I recommend something like a Cricut.
Question:	I am wanting to engrave in leather and cow hide. Which watts would you suggest? Also would be doing wood but main focus is leather and hide
Answer:	I own the 20 watt model and would recommend it. The 15 watt would get the job done but suggest getting the 20 watt.
Question:	Is wifi required on this unit all the time
Answer:	No. The machine only needs to be connected to a computer for operation. No need to connect to the Internet. You can operate the machine offline.
Question:	What do have to set the unit on or can I just set it on a table without anything under it
Answer:	I would suggest that you place a 24" x 24" non flamable piece under the unit. For example, i placed mine on a table, but placed a 2 SF piece of tile under it in the event the laser burnt through whatever i was cutting. This was just a precautiinary measure. I picked one up at a local tile liquidation store for $2.00.

Answer:	This machine uses XML for (code?). "Statements" is a better description. Does not use G-Code which I happen to be fluent with. The "XML" is easy to get accustomed to.

Question:	Other than this machine, what else do I need to get started engraving glasses
Answer:	BIG and very heavy! I uncrated the machine myself and it took a while. The legs are bolted and nailed to the crate platform. You have to raise the footers and unlock wheels to move it. Dimensions are 47x36.5x34. Save the crate incase anything goes wrong and you have to send back. I ended up sending the machine back (software is in Chinese) Manual didn’t match up to machine. I still have the chiller if interested.

Exhaust Management Methods

During operation, laser cutters generate exhaust that may be hazardous to health. Always operate laser cutters with proper exhaust ventilation and/or filtration, and always operate in a well-ventilated area. Consult with federal, state and/or local authorities and applicable homeowner or condominium associations to ensure compliance of ventilation and exhaust systems. Installer of exhaust management system is responsible for complying with all codes, regulations and laws.

Answer:	This machine can engrave glasses which have the flat surface, not bottles or cylinders.

Answer:	for an even burn, if you leave the vent in, its like 7x10 flat workspace, if you remove it, it increases the burn area to 8x10. you could possibly push it to 12" across but its not as clean a burn that far out from the start point...and as far as depth, if you use the opening in the middle of the tray (which the opening is about 5x7, you can burn small things several inches thick...but if your piece lays on the tray, you only want it to be about 2cm thick at most.
Question:	Are the legs/base removable so that we can turn it to get it through a doorway? If so, what is the actual height of the cutter with no legs/base
Answer:	Yes. This engraver will not work on any metal, but can work on the coat upon the metal.

Answer:	I have used both materials. With no issues. you will have to adjust the speed and power for your design / cut. engraving normally requires 15 or 25 % power where cutting may require a slower speed but a 80 or 100 % power. With this machine you are able to control the power level and also the speed of the cut / engraving. This machine will cut almost about a 12 X 16 BUT!!! and please realise the BUT you will need to make modifications to the machine to achieve this. Without any modification you should be able to cut a 8 by 6ish. As most will notice material does matter!! thinner the faster it will cut the thicker the slower. that being said you can engrave most metals and wood. It will cut metal but extremely thin metal. Also you need to make sure if using this machine you use a PRUE!! Black and White Image. If laser cutting a grey might only cut at 40% when a black will cut at 100%-- your issue is you will have very jagged lines, a ultra smooth black and white image will give you an ultra smooth cur on most plastics at the right speed. My suggestion is always have a test material, I use cheap card stock. Using the card stock at a lower power level will help you size a project, and determine if the design / file is correct. If you think the mm to inch is not accurate enough. Also the cheap .05 cent cardstock per sheet will save you 10, 15 or 40 bucks depending on your material, if there is a malfunction in your design or machine. As of today, 07-23-2017 i've had the machine about 10 months and have made a vast assortment of items, including etching glass. The quality, and price of this machine is a 5.0. Yes there are better machines out there but not under 500 bucks. I'm not a manufacture of items, i'm only a hobby guy who has produced 200+ successful items from this machine. Im 100% happy, if I had to buy someone who wanted this machine, I would get the exact model. additional question ask. Someone will answer

Answer:	Anodized aluminum works with max power and low travel speed. Stainless Steel doesn't work.
Question:	What is the thickest wood this will cut through? Can it do ½” on one pass
Answer:	No you are not able to engrave Stainless Steel, therefore the power is to less. Secondly you would have a problem with the round surface (focus is set to an certain distance), the system is made to engrave flat surfaces.
