I use the soap and it did give me a more even tone all over. I only use it on my face though, because that was the only place I had the problem. Answer:	No. I bought one to do the same thing, but it wasn't the correct item because it converts "FROM" VGA, not "TO" VGA. There is another device (it's powered and about the size of a cell phone - it also costs between $25-$35) that converts RCA signals (from your DVD player) to a VGA monitor. You need a VGA cord (both male ends) to connect your monitor to the converter. I am assuming you have an answer for the sound part, since a computer monitor has no sound, with external computer speakers. I needed a splitter that takes the white and red RCA cords (left and right channel sound) out of the DVD player and turns them into a female connector for a standard input/output mic-style jack for my computer speakers.

Answer:	I don't think so. There is a "direction" involved. This adaptor is "FROM" VGA "TO" RCA. To go "FROM" RCA "TO" VGA requires an adaptor (about the size of a cell phone and about $35) that adjusts the speed of the RCA transmission to the VGA receptor. I made this mistake trying to hook up a DVD-VHS player to a computer monitor. I got the correct adaptor from Sewell Direct.
