Answer:	Hi there! Thanks for a great question. Making candles is definitely an experiment and thats the beauty of it. This #10 string is on the thinner side so depending on how small/big your container is you'd need to adjust how many wicks you use in the container. Additionally you'd have to coat this string in some type of beeswax to preserve the flame and to have the candle last longer. So to answer your question it would be a fine string to use for your candles but there are many factors. We also carry a candle making set which comes with (beeswax hemp wick, 2lbs of wax and sustainer tabs) - just as a thought!
